Over recent months there's been a lot of talk about expenses, accountability and transparency (or the lack of).  I like to think that the world I live in is the real one, and because I want the world I live in to be a better place, I'll do whatever I can to make that a reality.  In this context, I had a thought about money.  I see bankers on seven and eight figure annual sums, and politicians on the fiddle to boost their already generous income netting tens if not hundreds of thousands of pounds from the taxpayer in expenses alone.  Because of this endemic culture of secrecy and greed, I've decided to open up to the world, to show what I'm made of.

 

Underneath, you'll find two sets of figures, all in British pounds.  The first covers the monies I've made since making astrology readings my only source of income.  It gives a summary of my expenses, gross earnings and net earnings over recent years.  The second table gives more clarity, being a breakdown in details of expenses for the last tax year, so that any interested party can see what an astrologer earns and spends!

Last year I cleared just less than 16,000 pounds.  But hang on...  I paid 9,000 pounds rent on our flat, in addition to 5,000 pounds on food (I provide for the two of us).  Then the tax man wants 4,000 pounds, which he isn't getting but is just piling on the interest....   I have a couple of deals in the offing, one more long term involving astrology on television, and one due to begin in September involving a multi media platform approach to astrology in a way that has not been done before.

 

So - this is me, putting out to the universe, and saying please.  I'm looking for benefactors, sponsors, investors, people who are willing to help me promote and push astrology ever onwards into and onto the world.  I trust in the universe, and if I'm meant to continue doing what I am and have been, the universe will provide.
