2nd August 2009

Co-incidentally (honestly!) this is written whilst the Moon is exactly conjunct Pluto, which is perhaps symbolic of the times we live in.  There are two ways this month can go.  There can be a smouldering resentment at the excesses that corrupt our society, which will manifest through some type of event or action which will not be good at all.  Or people can say to themselves, quietly and internally but confidently and with conviction:  ‘enough'.  The coming full Moon works excellently with Mars, the passion and decisiveness will be there in quantity.  But the Mars/Saturn square is also saying ‘end game - time to let go of things, patterns, people, attitudes that have somehow clung on since the start of the century, and bring a graceful but firm end.  It really is advisable now to ask yourself what is sustainable and what is not, and make damn sure you get your priorities right.  How can you help anyone else if you're not in good working order yourself?  Putting yourself first is not selfishness, it's self enlightened interest.

Well ,this seems to tie up with the advice of one of the other readers of this site who said about a week ago that we should be approaching the next equinox with caution and grace. I thought what a lovely way to go about our daily lives with what looks like a difficult astrological time ahead- and these two words will remain in my mind... Thank you to the reader that wrote this... Also of interest, I read that Gordon Brown's chart (didn't realise he is a Pisces)- is being hit by planets showing final endings ,and that the next 30 days could see an ending for him- but then how I ask when they are all on Parliamentary recess? And you are right Steve, putting yourself first is essential...
