I feel that during the next few days there will be a number of critical decisions made, both globally and personally, and that out of these decisions some type of irrevocable action will occur, probably in early-mid September.  And the word I keep getting is ‘monolithic' which leads me to assume that some type of fundamental basic structure to our lives is going to collapse.  This doesn't seem to be a person, more some type of institution, and the astrological symbology of this speaks of economics rather than religion or politics.  I find myself idly speculating as to the consequences should the Bank of England, or for that matter the Federal Reserve, go bankrupt.  These are, after all, the people who print the money.  And if I project this even more forward, I can see that within a year or so there may have to come either a new currency in the different nation states, or even a global currency - and be sure, this won't be the pound or the dollar.

Love your commentary, Steve. Although not an astrologer, as an American living abroad who reads many astro, political, and financial blogs daily, I think your prognosis is unfortunately spot on. I mean how much "money" (just paper backed by nothing) can the Fed print before inflation really starts to spike, our creditors start to rebel (mostly Chinese) and not buy any more US bonds, and the whole system just comes crashing down! This is not conspiracy theory, but rather basic nuts and bolts economic reality.

Last week, when I was thinking about cropcircles- (really interested in last weeks blogs) several comments really made me think... One was the reader that posted the Hopi Indian blog- "We are what we are waiting for"... That then led me onto thinking about the end of the film Space Odyssey 2001, where the astronaut finds himself in a room with an elderly man(which I assume was him in the future) and also the beginning of the film where the apes are gathered around the monolith... I also found very interesting the comment where someone put forward the idea that some people's minds could be unknowingly creating them, and this ties up with an article I read that scientific research into the cropcircles, which shows that some of the circles have electromagnetic fields the density/force of which is identical to human brainwaves... in direct contast to other cropcircles that showed a sterile makeup. And re faery folk etc,I loved the comment from the poem, but I wonder why the cropcircles stopped for a while in Elizebethan times times.. That also made me remember books I read as a child, The Wierdstone of Brisingamen, which really made me think about the existence of fairies, elves etc.... Thank you Steve for making me think about all my favourite subjects.....

If there is indeed a new currency, is that a good thing? Will it lead to a more stable economic future? At the moment banks seem to be carrying on as normal - ripping us off with high interest rates and handing out the usual big bonus's.

Sorry my blog above is not worded very well, it should read "about scientific research", not "that", also Elizabethan times, not time twice- had a horrible weekend- ,am not with it at all....and re the money- it's along time since I studied economics- but surely quantative easing in Britain will lead to almost certain bankruptcy....have we ever gone down this path before over here, and if so what were the results?

oh heck Countryfile has just announced it will be unravelling the crop circle phenomena in next week's programme, after all these years I still allow myself to be wound up by their unrealistic comments and theories, like the good old days of Doug and Dave on an outing with a couple of planks? let's hope it is a more honest appraisal, cos let's face it no one really knows what they are, we don't have the science to understand them ...yet.... More misinformation heading this way on the telly? we shall see.

Doesn't it say somewhere toward the end of the "Big Book"- and then the yellow people will take over- or have I got that mixed up with something else??? no offence meant to our oriental brothers of course.

Hi, Steve, Have you been reading the Christian Bible? It is told in Revelation that we will have a common currency for the world. Egad, I was hoping I would have passed on prior to the agony foretold in Revelation. I pray for blessings for all of you. Thank you, Steve.
