OK... just got an unannounced visit by her majesty's inland revenue and customs, they had the intention of 'seizing my chattels' in lieu of both back and forward tax to the tune of 5.5K. I was able to show them a big project I've been working on that launches on October 1 as well as my relatively healthy order book and that delayed the seizure until this coming Wednesday, but if I don't come up with at least 4k by then I'm off back to warehousing and shelfstacking. So I'm asking the universe for help. I don't want charity, but I need advance orders, patronage, investment, loan, whatever. I've found fifteen percent of what they want, but can't do any more, so I'm asking the universe. Full details on request through steve@stevejudd.com or 01225 336118. Good luck with your situation, Steve. I feel for you as the Revenue always seems to be hassling me for cash I can't afford to fork out. I wish I could help but I've already bailed out one person this week! Seems like it's affecting a lot of people.

As a long-time reader of your blog I'm really sorry to hear about your plight. Would you consider putting a paypal donate button up even if just for a while, so that those like me who are across the water and far away can contribute, say thanks for all the help and insight you've given over the years?

Sh-t Steve, hell of a pickle. Wish i could give you all the money needed. Problem is, i'm going deeper into the red myself....can make a small donation though. Makes you wonder what the hell the universe is playing at, at times. Hope everything works out.

I know the feeling. My stuff has been in storage for a couple of years now, and I am staying illegally at my mother who gets rent assistance...in a one bedroom....and I have had to come up with an extra $600 this month - and did not, so have not made bills, including the storage rent or the car lease...and as to the Revenue - I keep hoping that they forget that I exist!

Oepsssss...guess that's a pretty good example of Mercury squaring Pluto's opposition to Mars. How terrible. Moon on Pluto tomorrow will probably intensify things all a bit, hope that it will take on the 'transformative support' tone of the conjunction instead of the more 'emotional powerlessness in the face of unyielding authorities' pfff.
