12th October 2009

The Pisces/Virgo dichotomy continues. I think that the transit of Uranus through Pisces is the final nail in the coffin for moderate religion, and that fundamentalism of all types can only rise in the short term.  This could also be signified by the upcoming nine month square between Saturn and Pluto, of which more soon. That this is also happening at the time of transition from the Age of Pisces to the Age of Aquarius is synchronistically so relevant for human evolution that it makes me wonder if God does, indeed, play dice with the Universe.  For centuries we have been lied to and denied of our inalienable human rights of equality, spirituality and intuition.  Now the impotence of world leaders is becoming obvious to all, despite Nobel prizes, except to those fundamentalists who need something to believe in.  There is a madness sweeping this planet born of the extremist belief that I, and only I, have the sure knowledge of what God wants.  Belief systems limit.  If you believe something, then anything outside of that belief can't be true.  An openness to possibility is being asked of oneself, or else the caged boredom of normality becomes the trap and from then on it's Prozac and daytime television.

Tell us Steve, in pragmatic terms about the Saturn / Pluto square of the next 9 months as you put it.. I actually am wary of this energy and just would like to find a way to navigate this as unscathed as possible.. I am too tired and I know that I will have to roll with the punches somehow... so being more aware of how they will come would be a good psychological preparation!

Fundamentalism!!! That does worry me, but Steve, when you say short term, what does that mean in the grand scheme of things.....10 years or for the next hundred years.......not sure i like what i hear. I would like to see the end of religion and people making up their own mind. p.s hope you settled into your new home

Steve, I live in an area where religion is the opiate of the masses. I distance myself as far away as I possiably can from the madness. Living in the country with my 8 cats and 5 dogs, my shield is over the top...from listening to someone elses pseudo intellectual bullsh..t on religion. I have been called anti-social, but hey, whatever works.

"Belief systems limit. If you believe something, then anything outside of that belief can't be true." Unless of course the belief system that you subscribe to (ie consciously believe in) is that beliefs don't limit and everyone's beliefs are valid!

Ask all the poeple who have had to endure being detained in mental health units across the country, if their human rights, spirituality and intuition has ever been even aknowledged let a lone met!

"An openness to possibility" I like that very much, thank you Steve. It is exactly how we should live our lives, open to possibilities!

Hello Steve - This morning (5.00am) there was the most beautiful sight in the sky - three stars one directly above the other. Pardon my ignorance, but which ones were they, and do they augusr well ? They certainly look as though they mean a lot! Cheers as ever.
