20th January 2009

I've just listened to Martin Luther King's sister talking about his birthday and the inauguration, followed by a clip currently on the BBC homepage of MLK himself being interviewed in 1964 in London about the possibility of a black president. It's really strange, I feel so emotional and tearful about these times, dare we as a species truly hope? Then I think Gaza, Mumbai, economics (yawn)... America, your image in the outside world is in its best chance for positive change that it has been in for decades. Don't blow it, there's a whole community out here waiting for you. OK, Mercury retrograde, total eclipse of the Sun in a couple of days, website rapidly coming to its end, changes imminent. Headless chicken time, rollercoaster city. For real time updates, listen in this Friday at 11.00 UK time on www.glastonburyradio.net to The Caustic Astrologer (me) with a live transmission on current issues from as astrological perspective, repeated on Monday and Wednesday.

Well folks...... Saturn and Uranus are having their way with me, and rather than fight I've decided to go with it and dance.... due to recent techno and viral problems, I've taken the site off line and it's undergoing big developments, hence the current weirdness. I'll be back properly before the end of the month - till then, I'll leave you in the tender care of Mercury retrograde, from Sunday through to the end of the month. And if it gets too much, be aware that this is the 'craziest' time of 2009, lots of headless chickens and gibbering wrecks, and that by mid February choices will be apparent, by mid March choices will have been made, by July results will be in and by November it's a new ball game. And for those interested, go to www.glastonburyradio.net where my show, The Caustic Astrologer, is broadcast live on Friday at 11.00, and repeated on Monday at 16.00 and Wednesday at 18.00.
