On today’s show – the normal weekly forecasts, plus a good look at the astrological Mars – how you go about getting what you think you really want, and the likely consequences!  And due to public pressure, I’ll have with me in the studio Gary King, the man who takes all of those wonderful pictures of crop circles from above.  He’s been going in circle formations as long as me, and between us we’ll have a good debate on the phenomena.  That’s 10.00 am this morning, repeated on Monday at 21.00, Tuesday at 14.00 and Wednesday at 04.00, all at www.glastonburyradio.net.  My new newsletter will be out in a couple of days, as will news of a big astrological retreat I’m doing shortly in SE England.  It’s all happening so fast I don’t have time to write!

25th March 2009

Written as Mercury moves from Pisces into Aries suddenly squaring Pluto, and it’s 24 hours until new Moon conjunct retrograde Venus…  Lots of Aries energy suddenly launching itself, lots of new beginnings, the first stirrings of the Uranian energy of the coming six months.  The next 48 hours are potentially underhand and manipulative, especially in areas concerning external sources of finance, so don’t go signing any long term contracts until Friday will you?  And I’ve got some big announcements to make over the coming couple of days, so keep tuned…..

Appreciate who you are, Be nice to everyone, Choose your life, Dodge Negativity, Empower your future, Flaunt yourself, Go on the road, Have faith, Instill your peace, Jump at opportunities, Keep going, Laugh lots, Make friends, Never complain, Observe the world, Play as much as you can, Quit worrying, Relax daily, Smell the roses, Take one step at a time, Upgrade your consciousness, Value others, Walk in their shoes, Xpect the best of yourself, Yield to fun, Zone out sometimes.  It’s a bit hippy, but what other species has the ability to be optimistic or pessimistic?  I could lose some weight and be lighter, I could go for enlightenment, but I prefer to constantly try and lighten up, to tread lightly on the earth, and to give more than I take.

17th March 2009

Over recent weeks we’ve been privileged to see Venus at its brightest in the west high in the sky after sunset (at least, if you’re in the northern hemisphere).  Now that it’s going retrograde, it’s dropping rapidly, and in another month or so it will become a radiant morning star.   It’s hard for me to explain the effects of Venus; I guess I’m not that tuned into it.  But its fifteen week sojourn in Aries certainly seems to be bringing up a lot of personal relationship stuff for people, and as Mercury today and tomorrow and Mars in a couple of weeks time both oppose Saturn, increasingly I’m advising people to make choices now before they are made for them.  Who pulls the strings?  Who is the puppeteer and who is the puppet?  It is coming to crunch point in terms of black or white, yes or no.  Fences are down, there’s nothing in the middle to sit on.  The metaphorical boil is swelling, nearly at bursting point, but don’t jump the gun.  Decisions can be made over the coming 24: actions as a result of those decisions can wait a week or two for maximum effectiveness.

16th March 2009

Big Mercury/Saturn opposition coming in over the coming three days, so if you’ve recently been hammered by Saturn then the middle of this week is likely to bring some hard nosed grim reality into the equation.  Still – at least you’ll be able to see what is working and what isn’t.  Excellent time for being direct about what you do and don’t want, no point in beating around the bush, this is the time for decisions and forward planning from a much more hard nosed perspective.  Those things that pass the cull/examination of the next few days will be strong indeed.

12th March 2009

I heard a great story this morning about yesterday's full Moon.  Check out yesterday's post and the replies to it, the story of the clock suddenly starting again after two and a half years is pure Saturn.  Sometimes Saturn is structure, scaffolding and hardware.  Other times he is the cowled skeleton with his scythe, the personification of the grim reaper.  And yet other times he is the grandfather clock with his incessant pendulum, keeping rhythym and order.  He is old father time, and because he is the furthest planet visible with the naked eye the ancients saw him as representing limits and boundaries.  He has been the dominant force over recent month's astrological activity, and is now at his peak.  Pressure's off soon folks, hang in there.  And if you're in the USA and you haven't had an email from me about possible dates over there, drop me a line quickly!

11th March 2009

Well that’s certainly pulled the plug out of a few situations, hasn’t it?  After last night’s full Moon, I got in this morning and have had people ringing and emailing me to say that all of a sudden they feel lots better, that something has shifted.  One person in their seventies rang me to say that after watching the Moon last night, she woke up this morning and for the first time in fifteen years decided to go swimming!  For many people, this coming month is a bottoming out; things aren’t going to get any worse.  They’re not going to get better overnight, but the pressure is beginning to finally stabilise.  In a month from now, when Mars hits opposition to Saturn, final decisions and first direct actions will be taken that will start the process of moving forward again, even if you have to leave old things and situations behind.  And if this particularly relates to you, then it’s about time you had an update, so why not give your astrologer a quick call/email?

10th March 2009

A few hours before full Moon, in the last forty eight hours I've seen so many people and fielded so many calls involving situations of hard choice.  Saturn's lesson is simple.  Always do it the hard way, then you only have to do it once.  And if the last six months have been hard, then at least the baseline is strong for the coming six months of much more changeability.  It's boring, but hard work always brings its own reward, that of long term success.

5th March 2009

For many people, the time since mid September of last year to the current time has been and continues to be a time of pressure, intensity and gravity.  One of the sayings that I am currently using with my clients is that of Atlas carrying the weight of the world upon his shoulders.  Astrologically, the entrance of Pluto into Capricorn represents the breakdown of the old orders and the emergence of a new paradigm based on a commonality symbolised by the internet and the analogously growing consciousness web.  The urge and the dynamic for both change and continued stability is seen as the conflict between Saturn and Uranus, and since September last Saturn has had its way.  Now, the coming full Moon conjunct Saturn represents a nexual point where all energies must pass through a small aperture of refinement in order to progress.  This full Moon represents a time of cutting losses, letting go of old structures that were once reliable but are now past their sell by date.  For the next period of time until this September, Uranus takes over the reins, and life is going to get very interesting indeed.  Let go of the old, whether ...
