Re-incarnation from an astrological perspective makes sense in terms of karma, fate, destiny etc, but at the manifest level it doesn't work.  For a start off there's more people alive now than in the whole of history put together, which kind of knocks linear re-incarnation on the head.  Homoeopathic reincarnation, however, with droplets of this life and droplets of that - kick me hard enough and I'll put a week into it next month.  But for now it's the end of September, for me the hardest month for many years, and it ain't over yet.  The overspill runs until Mercury clears its September 7th  retrograde position on October 14th - another two weeks to get back up running again.  And in that time I'm moving house (gulp), starting something brand new (watch this space tomorrow), and still have to find the taxman another 1500 pounds.  But I digress.  September has been a 'monad orribilis' for many of us, and without the help and support of a lot of you I wouldn't still be here blogging.  So thank you all, even the cynics, for your contributions.  And tomorrow?  Tomorrow's another day.

29th September 2009

We are moving into the business end of the year.  So far, 2009 has been a year of wrangling, twisting, bending and the inserting of square pegs into round holes, but as of today and tomorrow a new dynamic is emerging, that of decision and action as opposed to vacillation and reaction.  It's true that many people are still in the effluent that has been swilling around so far in 2009, but the majority have a real chance now to emerge from the xxxx, not exactly shining, but clean, smell free and teflon coated.  Old patterns of reaction, old emotions and feelings, old behavioural actions - why waste your time staying the same?  I don't want to end up in my eighties worried about my hernia or my eyesight - I want my body to be knackered, exhausted, spent so that I can look back and say 'wow! what a ride!, enjoyed every minute of it'.  Until someone proves to me the existence of reincarnation, I bank on only being down here once, so I may as well make the most of it and do it properly.  Onwards....

28th September 2009

Personal astrology today.  Mercury stops going retrograde in just under twenty four hours time, it's as though it's been going on forever.  The tides are turning, everywhere in the last five or six days I'm hearing stories of new beginnings and fresh otptimism, what I find myself saying increasingly to clients at this time is to summarise now, there's no new information coming in as of tomorrow, what you see is what you get.  And not only decisions but also actions will be taken before 12th October that will bring to a final and permanent end things that have been dragging in some cases as far back as 2004.  Not the easiest time of the year, but certainly the most incisive and cutting edge.  The only danger is getting pulled all over the place, so hold your focus.

27th September 2009

I am not anti Israeli, not anti Iranian.  I am anti nuclear, and also anti religion.  And as I've said recently on numerous occasions, when a regime starts shooting its own people it's basically finished.  I agree that the regime currently in power in Iran is anti semetic, and is only comparable to Zimbabwe or North Korea for getting up the rest of the world's noses - I want to see it changed.  But if were'nt them it would be others.  There's always the pariah - it's been astrologers, women and now it's 'rogue' nation states.  The more you believe your God is the greatest, the more you want to slay the infidel, with bigger and bigger rockets.  Penis substitutes, I think.  All Gods should be emasculated.

26th September 2009

Odds and sods this mornig.  Saw Venus so high in the sky on the way to work this morning, what with Jupiter resplendent last night we are getting a real planetary show at the moment.  And I seem to remember a couple of months ago suggesting that regime change in Iran would begin to occur in mid/end September - but here's a difficult question:  how come Iran can't have nuclear weapons but Israel can?  Or is it that Israel is a peace loving nation and Iran isn't?  And you know I've been saying that the Mercury retrograde ends on the 30th of this month?  I lied.  It's actually the 29th.  And - watch this space over the coming few days, I have a special announcement that I'm trying desperately to keep under my hat until the 1st October, it may leak out before then, something never ever done before in both planetary culture or astrological history.

25th September 2009

The first test of Pluto in Capricorn comes when Saturn embarks on a nine month square to it at the end of October.  But let's get there first.  With only a few days until the end of the current Mercury Retrograde phase, it feels as if the ebbs and flows, the rip tides and the sudden changes in tempo, all of this is congealing, turning into treacle.  Yesterday a freind of mine took a big chance that worked out on the spot, someone else I know made a monumentous decison that changed their life for the better in the space of half an hour, I feel that actions taken in the next 24 hours have a magical quality about them, so fly in the face of adverstiy and dare to take chances (not risks, but chances).  Go.  Do it.  The time is right now to make it happen, right now.  Windows like this don't open very often.  If you do things for the right reasons and your integrity and conscience is clean, you will succeed.  And I'm blinking back the tears as I'm writing this, so something's happening....

24th September 2009

Astrology doesn't make you do anything that you don't want to do.  Unlike most other astrologers, I choose free will over fate or destiny, I don't do 'pre-ordained'.   But there is a point in the chart, the North Node, which has crossed over from eastern astrology and that talks of past and future 'lives'.  I don't do re-incarnation, because like angels it's conveniently unprovable, but if I did I would say that certain elelments of western capitalism are doing their long term karma a whole lot of disservice.  Karma is only another word for conscience which is again a matter of personal choice.  Point I'm trying to make here is that we are all responsible for ourselves, answerable only to our conscience and in that context, we are all God.  One planet, seven billion different worlds.

23rd September 2009

It's a weird one.  I'm glad I've got an element of Gemini in my chart, bacause there are very mixed messages out there, with some people going even deeper to the point of acuteness and others beginning to dare to hope again.  And I can see it both.  But looking at client's readings I've done in the last nine months, the most common forecast was that of better personal economic and financial circumstances by the middle of October.  Now, as we approach that time, I have no idea how this is going to transpire.  I think a lot of people are cutting their cloth, so to speak.  But as I said to someone yesterday, it's Mercury retrograde, in a highly unusual position.  Imagine yourself windsurfing, but you're at the point where incoming and outgoing tides are twisting with each other, and with M Rx you can't 'go with the flow' because the flow is all over the place, in a hundred directions at once.  So concentrate on balancing, staying upright, twisting and turning at any given moment and metaphorically STAYING ALIVE when all around you there's decay and disorder.  Just under a week and Mercury stops going backward, and we ...

22nd September 2009

Mercury is still retrograde, and today it's on top of Saturn and opposing Uranus, so I expect metaphorical sparks to fly.  It's also Equinox (Latin = equal night) at 22.19 UK time, traditionally a time of balance and equality, but currently a trigger into a new state of development.  The emphasis finally shows the first signs of switching away from Virgo and Pisces, and the beginning of the transition to Libra and Aries.  There are new time lines birthing, so today is an absolutely excellent time for throwing fishing lines into the future.  Most of them will come back with unusual rewards when you least expect them.  Saturn says persist, Uranus says take chances, and retrograde Mercury in his role as trickster is saying devil you do and devil you don't.  Things are sizzling, and clarity won't come until early October.  Stay awake.

20th September 2009

It's Sunday, so it's rant time.  Simple solutions to the UK's problems, and by extension, the world's:  Tax the banks, charging them interest on the money they store instead of putting it to use in the world.  Make government purely based on proportional representation.  Bring in the ‘Tobin tax', charging micropayments on each and every share transaction in the stock market.  Operate a more lateral approach to Afghanistan involving less troops and less expense.  Re-nationalise the transport systems and the utilities (water, gas and electric), thus substantially reducing the costs.  Scrap ID cards.  And most importantly, scrap Trident.  For the cost of one nuclear Trident missile you can build a hospital or three schools.  Invest the money saved into healthcare, housing and renewables.  Make car ownership much more expensive, and promote community rental fleets of hybrid or electric cars.  Close the churches, mosques ...

18th September 2009

19.00 - half an hour before new Moon.  The last couple of days have been extreme for me, both in terms of potentials and possiblities as well as having to deal with a lot of difficult news from other people and clients, some of the whom have become good friends.  This is as strong as it gets, the unstoppable force against the immovable object, the inserting of the square peg into the round hole, the forced change that is leading to a more flexible structure, but oh so many little deaths and some big ones too.  If I weren't an astrologer I'd be really worried.  I still am, but the one advantage I have is that I can, in my own optimistic way, see a time where the power dynamic that is currently at maximum angst level will be greatly decreased, and that time is in three weeks from now, so grin and bear it because THIS IS AS HARD AS IT GETS, at least until well into next year.

17th September 2009

EXTRA at 14.00  Perhaps we will hear startling news of a behometh falling after all - watch the European banks...  07.30 Over recent weeks I've focused on Saturn and how the current new Moon phase is a trigger for the Saturn/Uranus opposition.  Now, with the Sun, Moon, Mercury and Saturn together, perhaps it's time to look at Uranus.  Sudden, dramatic, unpredictable changes that pull the rug from under one's feet on the down side, independence, freedom and liberty on the up side, Uranus brings change.  Sometimes change can be stimulating, other times chaotic.  Ask those people born a day or two either side of the 14th of June, September, December or March about change (and then duck).  Some see the current Saturn/Uranus opposition as order v chaos.  I see it as structure working with surprise, the bringing of form into the nebulous and the revolutionising of one's limitations.  There is a tidal wave of change sweeping our world, and if you resist you get the land sucked out from underneath you, or even worse cast onto the rocks of life.  Better to surf the wave, go with the flow and take your chances.  And whilst the next forty eight hours ...

14th September 2009

The Sun is three days away from Saturn, the Moon five, and if you're one of those people whom have been under Saturnine pressure and stress over the last eleven months, then now is the time to make decisions.  The pressure has got to the white hot point where it doesn't even hurt any more, where you can be so hot you're ice cold, where true compassion is almost callous and where it becomes basic binary - yes/no.  The head of steam has condensed into something more aimed and specific, and I feel that events and choices of the coming week will change many of our lives forever.  The new doesn't destroy the old, it incorporates it, but if the old is too rigid then the walls will fall.  In less than a month, I'll be suggesting a much calmer and less intense time, but from my astrological perspective the coming four weeks are rock and roll time, what we've truly been born for.  We will see something that none of our ancestors have ever seen - some type of resolution.

13th September 2009

As I write, Saturn is clearing my horoscope after a nine month examination of things in my life.  I know that the text books say that he is to do with restructure, hard work and order/form, but I would add to this list the qualities of gravity, density and downright stress and pressure.  Yes, as he comes to an end of his stay with me I feel fitter, leaner and meaner, more effective and certainly my priorities have become more focalised.  But he is such a miserable bxxxxxd, can't he organise an energy swap with Jupiter and bring a little light into things sometimes?  I'm just ahead of the curve here - Saturn will finish the affairs ongoing since this time last year within the next few weeks for the vast majority of people, with the new cycle not starting until start November.  I need a week in a sauna, and I know that there are people out there having it a lot harder than me.  But then, without Saturn there would be no structure, and where would we be without boundaries?  I respect, admire and acknowledge his power - except when he hits me, then he's just a miserable ...

12th September 2009

I did think hard before using the word 'killer' new moon in yesterday's post, but here's my thinking.  Saturn opposite Uranus brings on the one hand the sudden breakdown of rigid structures and on the other hand the bringing of a flexible stability into what is normally chaos.  This manifests every 42/3 years as a time of social unrest and change.  Whilst this transit takes two years to clear properly, the time of now (mid August to mid October) with retrograde Mercury never far away from Saturn is the strongest time of this opposition, and the new Moon (Sun conjunct Moon) is on top of Saturn on the 18th of this month.  New Moons are traditionally times of new beginnings, of sowing as opposed to reaping, and I'm sure that new beginnings clearly evident in a year or three will look back to this month as the initiator of their evolution.  But this is not a normal new Moon.  Social unrest, economic inequality and political impotence are exposing the moral corruption and spiritual bankruptcy of our present system, and something new must emerge, probably without the concept of profit as its central tenet (shock horror!).  The idea of permanent gain ...

11th September 2009

Straight back into the nexus of fusion...  A comment often levelled is that I keep predicting peak times, that they're always just around the corner.  But the majority of readings I've done so far this year all point to a time of clarity, restructuring and growth from mid October this year onwards.  Before then we've got:  the killer new Moon in Virgo conjunct Saturn and opposite Uranus in a week's time; the ongoing Mercury retrograde conjunct Saturn until mid October, and the high point of the Saturn/Uranus opposition.  The signature is of endings and new beginnings accompanied in the short term by misinformation and miscommunication, of rigid structures collapsing, and of new flexible and transparent boundaries becoming the norm.  But be sure, there will be a death gasp...  By end October, Saturn is in Libra, Mars is beginning seven months in Leo and things will be different.  From then on the pressure WILL decrease (slightly) for at least six months.

Sometimes I ask myself if I'm making all this up.  The difference between the shaman, showman and sham man is only semantic.  But then I look to the continuing comments and feedback from my clients, and realise that if I'm ...

10th September 2009

Well, I'm as back as I'm ever going to be.  I owe a big thank you to a number of individuals all of whom I will contact in due course, but basically I've had a kick up the backside from the taxman but have paid them over 60% of the money I owe with the remainder paid in the next month.  So what do I find?  Mercury retrograde, biggest new Moon of the year a week away, Saturn kicking up a duststorm and things nicley poised for some type of incisive stroke that will change things forever, methinks.  I sometimes wonder if I'm dreaming this all in, whether or not I'm a doom and gloom merchant who's allowing my own negativity to influence my blogs.  But then I get so much feedback suggesting that the majority of the rest of you are like this, too!.  So if I've read the zeitgeist right, by six weeks from now all will be sorted, and we will have a quiet-ish end to the year.  Dreaming it in...

9th September 2009

Mission control 5, and hopefully final.  We've got him, pulling him in now, we'll have him in place at least physically and emotionally within 24 hours.  He sent us copy of himself watching himself writing his blog six weeks ago, but it's too paradoxical to post.  We also have the following post of six weeks from now, but we stress that this is only one particular time line into the future and is not written in stone.....   "How dare they?  The events since mid September have changed things forever, and the excuse of war does not hide the sheer incompetence of economic failure.   What is it about the right wing gangster bully boys that will kill rather than surrender their way of life?'  Still - at least we can see a future now that has validity as opposed to the spin of recent months.  We were too busy watching Pakistan and Iran to see the real danger from Russia.''  This is mission control out - hopefully we won't have to jump in again, it's really exhausting down here, how do you all cope?  Finally - his last transmission before entering re-entry pattern - '090909, watch the fields'.

8th September 2009

Mission control 4.  OK, we've got traces of him in 1911 in Sarajevo and Vienna in 1934, but in both cases he appears to have been unsuccessful.  In one time line there's a fleeting shot of him pushing his childhood self out of the way of an oncoming car in the late 1950's.  As far as we know, he never met his grandparents when they were young. More worrying is a clear transmission of his Cybernetic Liminal Opinion Generator, or daily Clog, from 2019.  The fragement we have reads ' ....chitomy continues - truly the wind, sun and wave/air pressure generation offers new hope for the future for those left, the solar wind sails and mirror arrays proposed will enhance our abilty for the long term.  But the massive starvation of recent years was foreseeable and is a damming inditement on the so called leades of the early 2000's.  Now that borders have dissolved and profit limited those of us left have a good chance for the future.  But the collective genocide of recent years, coupled with the environmental ravages since 2015, have shocked us into either decay or rapid change.  Some of the kids today!  Over seven feet regularly ...

7th September 2009

Mission control 3.  OK, we're getting a fix on his neural signature.  We've got a soundbite of him in - believe it or not - crop circles in 1561, and we've got a little footage of him being crucified for attacking priests overseeing the destruction of the stone circle at Avebury in the early 1600's.  We're also getting reverse speech and footage from about 2110, where he seems to be in a population-lite zone of genetically altered flora and fauna.  What's worrying is that he's alone, there aren't any humans around, which is strange because his transmisions from 2400 suggest a big community of humanity.  He's muttering about the  'satellite ring' and 'solar mirrors', whatever they are.  We think we can get him back into this century within the next 24.  EXTRA:  Just before posting, we've received another transmision from him, weirder than normal.  He claims to be in Bath in the late 1700's, watching himself watching Herschel discover Uranus.  We've also got a bit from 2054, talking about being in the hot desert surrounded by gigantic mirror arrays.  He's homing in on us, we think Wednesday or Thursday he should be back in the now.

6th September 2009

Mission control 2.  The transmissions from the past and the future from Steve just don't make sense.. however, they are as follows:  From the Giza plateau about 12.5 thousand years ago he reports of 'tall, white, winged human like beings' who forecast tragedy at a planetary scale within two thousand years, shocking people from right brain into left brain awareness.   These beings urged the people to pass their message on to their long term descendants through the only way sustainable - huge patterns of stone.  But as soon as he tried to interact with these 'angels', he was shoved into about 400 years ahead.  From then his words are really weird, talking about the interface between humanity, AI and the 'galactics', whatever they may be, as well as the 'interspacial mining colonies', the gravity drive and the telekenetic specialists.  We don't know what time line he is in, and we don't know when he is, but we're pretty confident that the next bounce will be less extreme and closer to now.

5th September 2009

Mission control here.  Due to recent extreme levels of stress, the being known to you as 'Steve' has entered a state of transmogrification, and since his entry into the latest crop circle (here) he hasn't been seen.  He was last observed muttering about splicing temporal DNA/neural patterning with the Avebury architects, and he's gone time travelling.  We are working to get him back, but he's bouncing between the past and the future, thus his transmissions may be a little garbled at this time.  He will return but his currently oscillating time reference may take a few days to home in on us.  We think his current position is on the Giza plateau, about 12,600 years ago - we'll know first thing tomorrow when his portal opens for transmissions.

3rd September 2009

Back (sort of)...  still in one piece, but shattered.  Hopefully, things will start coming back together tomorrow, I will be updating everything Saturday latest.  Sorry for the drama and crisis, and many, many thanks to you who know who you are.

2nd September 2009

I watch the copper markets ahead of both coffee and gold, and along with smaller bank stock in the USA and manufacturing indices in China they seem to represent a screengrab of the financial world, at least at this time.  I anticipate drops in the next day or three as people hedge their bets, but once the Mercury retrograde starts on Sunday/Monday, watch the (in)securities change.  It's as though we've spent months scaling a vertical cliff, and now at the top we're preparing to skydive off.  It's just a question of whether that dive is chaotic or artistic, random or intuitive, and how we manage the landing.  Personally, Saturn is less than quarter of a degree from hitting my Ascendant, and today the taxman doth call!  I'm over halfway towards their ultimatum, nearly two thirds.  I hope for good news, watch this space........  Oh yes, all being equal I will post the sun signs in 24 hours, sorry for the delay, not enough hours in the day...

1st September 2009

Over the last three days I've seen thirty seven people/charts, and spent much of the time with them reassuring them that they are not abnormal, that what they are going through is representative of much of what the majority of people seem to be be experiencing.  I feel that we collectively are under a kind of 'sword of Damocles', and that by next Monday the pressure will be off, Mercury will be retrograde, Mars will have finished with Pluto and we can collectively draw breath.  To my eye, this is the most intense time in recent years, at least since 2001 and probably a lot longer.  I've got a mad next thirty six hours, there will be a delay in posting September's sun signs for a day or two.  I have the pleasure of being interviewed b y the bank, the revenue and other regulatory authorities, and by tomorrow afternoon I will know where i stand.  More later.....
