This week Saturn moves into Libra for the first time since 1981, and we collectively move into the phase that astrologically is suggestive of final choices.  It is all very well to bemoan how hard our lives are, but if you can survive under this degree of evolutionary imperative, then you can handle anything.  This is not a practice or drill, this is the thing that we've spent much of our lives both training and waiting for.  Personally, I've been waiting for this time since I first saw it in my tables way back in 1983.  Despite the heaviness f my recent posts about the imminent future, I remain positive because I know that given another two or three years, not that long in real terms, this will all be sorted one way or another.   I can't wait.

Steve, The years 1981-1983 were extremely difficult years of turmoil for me that ultimately set me free to break away from an awful life situation. I do hope this Saturn return might offer as much of a life sea change for me as did those years. I am an Aquarian, and I say, "Please bring it on!" Thanks for your blog!!

I think we forget that we have so many choices... I believe that we have momentarily forgotten and now is the time to remember and to remind others. “Take care, don't fight, and remember: if you do not choose to lead, you will forever be led by others. Find what scares you, and do it. And you can make a difference, if you choose to do so" -Straczynski Please tell us more about Saturns move into Libra. I love your parable/metaphor about the birth of money. Have a look at these links - I think they will appeal and resonate with you. www.thezeitgeistmovement.com and The Venus Project (parts 1-3) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w7D_h5a4EEk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f2gLfkGs7Jo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JMnuVJbEsSE

Well Steve, I am (almost) ready.. I have decided to engage in clinical hypnotherapy ... blow the bank to try to overcome the 'dead lock' I feel I have been emotionally for all these years and which realistically, has impaired a process of growth and development (realisation of potential) that was not constantly ridden with underlying pain of repeated loss (as the drive for transformation and learning).. So it is time to shed a skin.. This has to stop or it is the death of me, if not literal, at least metaphorically in terms of hitting a complete wall/stuck record. Conventional counselling never succeeded to help me undo that deadlock.. This process is very different. Just started and I am quite impressed by the techniques and the way the 'working partnership' with the therapist is being created. I just wish I got a job to pay for it rather than risking the last pennies..But... in the order of priority, even acquiring some debt for this, seems worthwhile to me... and this is very related with closing a cycle that was pretty critical in the early 80s for me, though the roots went further back..... Hopefully the 'butterfly' will emerge.

You're right, I thought I was going to crumble last week, but then I thought-no lots of people have it far harder than me. Halloween- Samhain will soon be upon us. How I love the autumn- leaves falling, burst conkers on the ground, the first sign of frost, seeing the moon in the day time(that seems to be more prevalent at this time of year)... At Halloween(please don't laugh) I will be lighting a candle, eating an apple while looking in a mirror and brushing my hair- folklore has it that you see the face of your intended...Has anyone ever tried this?

Hi Steve, Just wondering about the coming power of saturn in libra. Having my ascendant in virgo, but natal sun in libra, how does this affect the situation? Saturn in virgo has been a prevision of stronger forces to come or has it been giving a totally different experience?
