27th October 2009

I lectured last night to the most intelligent group of astrologers I know, all mad, all different, all gifted.  One of them pulled me up on my description of the upcoming transit of Neptune through Pisces (2012-26) as being too negative, challenging me on the spot to reconsider some of my ideas.  Talking about that later, I had an epiphany about how we can 'save the world'.  The large scale transits of the coming few years are so about making us take responsibility for ourselves that the idea of the nanny system doens't work any more.  Instead, I can either be depressed about having to be responsible for myself, or I can rise to it and be delighted with it.  Maybe it's my Saggie side, but I prefer to smile rather than not to, and I truly believe that if everyone looked into each other's eyes and genuinely smiled unconditionally, we'd sort it all practically overnight.  A dream I know, but I thought I'd repeat something I've put up a few times before about this.  It's to do with the biggest virus of the lot.  Hope you like it.

'Smiling is infectious, you catch it like the flu

When someone smiled at me today, I started smiling too.

I walked around the corner, and someone saw me grin,

When he smiled I realised I had passed it on to him.

I thought about the smile and then realised its worth,

A single smile like mine could travel round the earth.

So if you feel a smile begin don't leave it undetected,

Start an epidemic quick and get the world infected'.

I agree entirely Steve; A smile is infectious and works... unless it's down to wind problems

Hello Steve, I beleive our smile is our most spiritual trait. When we smile, we are at our highest level we can be. This is why it is so infectious. Keep smiling..... I do.....

Yep, you said it! I have always believed a love virus will be the source of a revolution of consciousness. That if enough people are living from the heart with the awareness that all life is interconnected & sacred, eventually we will reach some kind of collective conscious 'tipping point'- like the Hundredth Monkey Effect. So lets believe in our dreams & follow our hearts!

Love that Steve, thank you! A few years ago when I smiled randomly at strangers they often looked horrified, or at best a tad bemused. More recently I notice that more people smile back... so maybe things are changing. I hope so!

May be the taking responsibility for ourselves that you see Steve is here on this level but if a thing is true it is true on all levels, how about on a higher level perhaps the taking responsibility for ourselves bit is beooming god owning our power - there too so many people see 'him' as a separate thing from them - and of course we arent separate - we ARE IT(him the energy or whatever) and if we could achieve that then we wouldnt have to go on killing each other because of our perceived differences would we? which would end the fighting, take mars out of the equation, no more sex - children manifesting living out their parents unresolved issues keeping the energy/earth going..all risen to another plane of existance?? well now theres a thought

I am so glad to hear it's about taking responsibility for oneself in these upcoming transits! I'd love to see a return of integrity, honor and pride in one's work!

Hey Steve I just read something similar in a book called Fractal Time. It says, heart-based emotions influence the magnetic fields of the earth - "strong collective emotion has a measurable impact on the earth's geomagnetic field". Collective positive emotions have a positive effect on the earth's magnetic fields and are now linked stuff like the stability of the climate and peace between nations. Check it out, pages 193-198. "The human heart generates the strongest magnetic field in the body, nearly 5,000 times stronger than that of the brain...If we can learn the language of the heart, then we can participate in the effects that the field has upon all life." Changes in the magnetic fields that we access through our hearts have been associated with the ability of plants to create vital nutrients, human mortality, memory, athletic performance and more. Also, check out www.heartmath.org Keep on smiling, and pass it on! :-)
