The Jupiter/Chiron/Neptune conjunction is entering its final phase now, and those Aquarians born around the 9th-12th and Leos from the 12th to the 15th are in for a really nice few days. But anyone who was affected at the end of April and start of May this year should now be in a position to start finalising things, popping over-inflated balloons but at the same time bringing things down to earth like a feather instead of with a bump. Chances and actions taken in moderation now will work better than normal, so don't undercut yourself but neither stretch too thinly. The next week is not about getting faster or bigger - it's about becoming more refined and effective. Times like these are uncommon. It's a good time to take chances - not risks, but chances. And how often do you hear me say this?

The current climate is very hard. Still at ground zero. I made an observation around me however, which leaves me very uncomfortable. Those of my male friends and/or acquaintances who have actually stepped out of (full) parental responsibilities to focus on their career or what matters to them most,... fare better than many of the women who have decicated years to supporting and bringing up their children on a day to day at the coal face. Is astrology also 'gender biaised'?? In the sense that men coming around to facing Saturn return seem to be in a much better position than the women I observe around me at the same age, having to face the restart of their lives after long years of effort and caring, often worse off economically as their lives have been essentially focused around their children and not suited to following a more self-centred career path... and for those of us who have done it alone, I can see that it is generally a tough call...

No it is not astrology of course.. but women and men are affected differently by prevailing energies due to social circumstances in the way we are organising our lives and relationships.... and in the way women are still left with main caring responsibilities, while these activities are devalued as compared to others that provide more status and economic gains....
