Until the late 1700's, astrologers only used the planets that they could see, i.e. as far out as Saturn.  Since then, we've discovered the outer planets, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto and Chiron.  As these planets have become accepted into astrological lore, so their effects have become more specifiable.  Since the early 1990's, astrologers have had the option of including some of the major and minor asteroids in their charts.  To me, three of the largest asteroids do have an effect, these being Ceres, Juno and Vesta.  Today I'm looking at Juno.  For centuries Venus has been the planet of love, but now that Juno has come along, with its attachment to one to one relationships, and this frees Venus up.  I feel that Venus can now be seen in a fuller light as the planet of value and worth, regardless of whether those values are physical, sexual, financial, emotional or mental.  Stuck on relationship problems?  Look at the aspects to Juno in your chart if you're really trying to get to grips with the one to one situations in your life.

Thanks for the tip Steve...been blaming the contradictions involved with the Venus - Uranus trine and the Moon/Mars oppposition to Saturn for all my difficulties...I'll take a look at Juno...who knows :-)

Todays full moon has made me so angry...The Age of Stupid- a very accurate name to describe what's happening in the world.... I cannot believe the headlines of some of todays newspapers-"Global warming is not man made"- or similar, leading huge swathes of the British public presumably to believe that we may as well all carry on polluting the planet, destroying nature at record speeds, all for what? Short term greed and the very real likelihood of our own inevitable destruction...How can the British press be so shortsighted? And how clever that this information just happens to go into the newspapers about a week before Copenhagen...I was at a talk some months ago and a leading environmental scientist made it quite clear that if world governments don't sign up to an 80% cut in emissions at Copenhagen we are going to see some very serious consequences..
