In a few hours there is a very weak minutely partial eclipse of the Moon. If you are very lucky you may see a very slight shadow on one side for a few minutes. This is really no big deal as eclipses go, but the solar eclipse on the 15th January is in a different league altogether. It's full Moon in Cancer, it's a good one so I don't anticipate major changes immediately. Wait till mid month for that... And - I've joined, kicking and screaming, the twitterati. I'll publish my name(s) tomorrow or the next day. UPDATE ONE - you're not getting any monthly sun sign forecasts for January. Instead, you're all getting a yearly forecast that will only be up for a month. Loading soon. UPDATE TWO Despite my skeptism, I can physically see the full Moon as I write and indeed, the SE section is minorly obscured. Full Moon in Cancer, I'm Cancerian, nearly time to scuttle under my shell and hide away till tomorrow. Loading now. UPDATE THREE 2010 sunsign forecast loaded, along with global forecast. But check in shortly, there are two possible big surprises i'm trying to pull together. That Moon is big! It's shining on me as I write, the eclipsed bit is beginning to fade... More v. shortly UPDATE FOUR on each sunsign page there is a link to a short video with your monthly forecast. Be gentle with me, it's early days and we will improve. And in about twelve hours time I will post something even better. Now - to bed, after a quck mead and a happy farewell to 2009 This next year has to be better. And - thank you, all of you, for all you do, all you have done, and for encouraging me. See you next year.

Dear all , The wild hunt need not worry anyone who walks with the old ones. Happy times to everyone of good heart especially those who follow the old ways - even if they don't know it! Dear Steve may the goddess look after you and cherish you even more and your family in the coming times.

Sorry not looking forward to this New Year.... Everywhere I look the announcement is 'hard times'... and I have been having hard times (despite being proactive and putting a lot of efforts in work and relationships for years)..... unemployed now for 2 1/2 years, single again after a short interlude of 5 months all blew up last May.... deception.... this is the start of my year with an announcement for more difficult times...Please, find some really positive things to dig out to the end of June.. I don't want to lose my house, I am prepared to fight for it, do whatever it takes.. not scared of moving but on my own terms, not to descend into poverty...
Sick of the message about Saturn, Pluto... where are the seeds of energies that can be worked on for something positive... not be flatten by outside events and people's actions that are totally outside my control and however much I try............nothing works. This year is real crunch time.. and I feel powerless.

Umpteenth update !! Ditto- Happy New Year to you and Karen.
I have just been outside- you are right Steve, the middle bit of the eastern side of the moon is not rounded- it almost looks straight- it is a very clear moon. I wish I could hide away for the night- I rarely go out on New Years Eve-normally on New Years Day with my oldest friends... but tonight some new friends have asked me to be with them, but I just don't want to go-don't know them very well- so I am nervous...still its nice to get an invitation...
Yuletide thoughts- been reading about the Wild Hunt- and became really scared-so stopped... I am fascinated by some of these tales....

I too am Cancerian and am feeling the pull of the full moon. Am alone and sober and it feels good! I'm planning on going for a brief walk through the snow up the forestry track next to my house (in deepest Perthshire) and I really feel quite excited at the prospect of 2010. My personal 2009 was somewhat fraught too! Thank you for your blog, I find it compulsive reading. I wish you and Karen a very happy 2010.
