What a long strange trip it's been.... Sometimes, especially when It's quiet up there, I find myself going off into flights of imagination. I occasionally blog about these, disguising them as time travel or something similar. But I've been in a block phase recently, questioning the validity of everything that I am and that I do. And yesterday I found myself with about eighty others in a five hour meeting that ended up with me being elected once again (under a minor degree of protest) to be a director of the Big Green Gathering, with it's half a million debt and myriads of different opinions as to how to move forward. However, there's a consensus of desire for progression as opposed to liquidation, and I'll give it my best shot. Watch this space for updates over the coming eighteen months as we aim to put on the green event of the century in 2011. Have I yet again bitten off more than I can chew? Time will tell... Meanwhile - this week. That bright red star in the sky about three hours after sunset? That's Mars, looking particularly vibrant at this time, just underneath Pollux and Castor, the stars of Gemini. And there's going to be a spectacular full Moon in six/seven days time, opposite Jupiter as well as the Sun, so I expect this week to be progressively larger and expansive, not necessarily a good thing. Those Pisces born in February and Virgo's born in August are really struggling to keep stability at the moment, but for all of us the coming week is a time of challenge, in that the temptation to go over the top and let things get larger than life is stronger than ever at the moment, so don't buy into petty dramas lest they become crisis', in which case you'll be the one to sort it all out AND you'll be the one that gets the blame. The best option this week is to step back and not buy fully into anything that kicks off around you. Remember - Jupiter is hot gas. It has no surface or substance, it just brings light and heat.

Can you see in your chart where the director job will take you?

Hi Steve
Sometimes I read your blog and it just sums up what is happening to me - how spooky is that!
As a Pisces with three planets in that sign I have become embroiled(through no fault of my own) in someone else's 'petty drama' and am in danger of being blamed. So thank you for your well timed words and I am now taking one giant step back !

I agree with the Pisces above- your blog Steve quite often sums up exactly what is happening in my own life- i.e in the last week, I save our tiny local Friends of the Earth branch from extinction), and you resurrect the Big Green Gathering- (congratulations for that) - this is not the first time- last year I went on holiday for five days for the first time since 2005, and your break in the New Forest coincided almost exactly with the times I went away...then one night I was discussing about how cables are laid under the sea with my Friends of the Earth groupand the next day on your blog you mention that very subject.....
It is spooky..maybe sometimes certain signs have planets aligned so they experience similar things at the same time....Has anyone else had similar experiences? One thing I have noticed is that I have had a lot of extraordinary spiritual happenings since I discovered this website- even more powerful when you went on Radio Glastonbury Steve- I wonder if some people act as some sort of channels....dunno...
As for petty dramas, I am having a really difficult week- the neighbour noise drags on, again I am exhausted, because of being woken in the early hours...there is trouble at my voluntary job, problems with some
home repair work Ive had done to be well I am struggling heavily to find stability-I try so hard to remain cheerful...I was going to write to my neighbours this week- maybe its not a good idea...

Thanks for the insights you give daily. Quite an unfortunate time for me (an aires), as I am in the process of a critica determination of which job offer to accept, out of several; all being very different, both in physical location and in nature of my career path, with all this hot air & dramas around it is probably not the best time to have to decide, albeit better to wait that may not be an option in my case. Keep your thoughts coming they do help. Thank you

Ha!Love hearing another astrologer tell us to watch out for Jupiter! It is far from the unalloyed beneficent it was promoted as for years IMO. Hot gas indeed.

hmmmm Dear Aries, think again, it may be a difficult decision but a very privileged position to be stuck with having to make a difficult choice about WHICH JOB OFFER TO ACCEPT! For many, their daily worries are currently driven by not having even the choice of having to opportunity for one job, let alone the luxury to have to worry about which one.... Breathe, you are lucky.
