Once again, a massive heads up and thank you to JC, who's been giving me lots and lots of nice publicity. I know literally over a hundred people who call themselves astrologers of one type or another, but apart from me (he says arrogantly), JC is the only one in the UK regularly pushing astrology into the world 24/7. Respect. Now - to the day's business. I've a client today who has no idea of his time of birth. Without a time of birth, so the theory goes, a reading can only be half as good. In the last 20/30 years I've developed a system of birth time detection by a process of elimination. From a person's chart at both the start and end of the relevant day I can see the range of the Moon's movements in that 24 hour period, and work out when certain planets in the sky would have affected it by angle, and thus event. Initially by ascribing events to a range of years and asking for confirmation of which year, and then narrowing it down to months and even in some cases even weeks, it is possible to get the birth time to a degree of accuracy, thus facilitating a more accurate reading. So how important is the time of birth? For a diagnostic analysis of one's chart, as long as it's good to within 30-45 minutes then that should be good enough. For reasonably accurate forecasts for the coming years/months, the ideal is to within a 15 minute window. For things like Astrocartography (see yesterday) the more accurate the better, with every four minutes of time equaling one degree of longtitude. Do your children a lifetime favour - make sure they know their time of birth!

Well Steve, recently you've mentioned stuff to do with time and the way we perceive it for the future.
So what happens ? According to today's news, the recent earthquake in Chile has shifted the earth's axis, and now a day is officially 'shorter'. Not by much, granted, but the very fact is surely of some significance!
Well spotted!

At what time of the birth is the time to be recorded at the appearance of the head or complete birth?
