30th March 2010

So that was the Libra full Moon...  I kind of blinked and missed it - the first new or full Moon of the year that I'm not concerned about!  Go here for an interesting encounter with Saturn.  FLASHBACK - I wrote this for my blog on February 2004.  'In contemporary times, the single most shattering and transformational event I have ever seen from an astrological level has to be the Grand Cross total solar eclipse of 11th August 1999.  This occurred in the middle of the fixed signs, on or close to 15 degrees of Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius.  These points refer to the eightfold path, being the dates respectively of Beltane, Lammas, Samhain and Imbolc.  These points are halfway between the equinox and solstice points on the Sun's journey around the heavens.  I find it fascinating and somewhat disturbing to note that the mega Grand Cross of August 2010, which I feel is going to have worldwide repercussions, is taking place on or around 0 degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn.  These points refer to the other four members of the eightfold path, namely spring equinox, summer solstice, autumn equinox and winter solstice.  I draw from this that as a species humanity has been "triggered" by 1999, and is now on a real test to determine whether it is fit to survive on Planet Earth.  2010 will be the point of no return, one way or another.  Collapse or catalyse'.  Now, on the cusp of these times, I see no reason to change my mind, although in coming days I will try and be more specific as to potential outcomes.

Pleased you've been so well appreciated. It's that Web of Light thing again isn't it? just because it's not headline news doesn't mean it's not there, and not VERY strong and powerful. Precisely how it works may not be as important as the knowledge that it does, surely. One day it will all be clear. We can get sucked into ideas subscribed to by the powers of politics, media and the apparent need to propagate fear.... I get increasingly sceptical about what we are subjected to via these channels. How can we take the 'establishment' seriously when science, in the shape of astronomy says 'Once upon a time there was nothing and then there was this enormous explosion and the universe was born'............what's scientific about that? Because something is beyond the edges of our perception doesn't mean it's not there. Good luck with the workload, x Ella

I can't wait to hear what you have to say in the coming days. I think it's incredibly important to keep hopeful and positive, as like breeds like, and we're already bombarded with negative news items etc every day. Personal responsibility for our actions and thoughts is the only way, I think. Thanks for the link to the stunning images of saturn and its moons and rings. And the image of little earth in the distance puts egos in perspective.

OMG Well an extraordinary day... I have today been offered a temporary job back at the publication I was bullied out of and left in September 2007. When I went in the office today it was as if I have never left...all sweetness and light.(The culprit has left) Nonetheless I remain very grounded- thanks mainly to this website I have learned an a lot about planets that tend to make Pisceans look at the world through rose coloured glasses...The Full Moon in Libra- well it's had a powerful effect on me- it appears to have done the final job in rebalancing career karma for me. So I am much happier, albeit somewhat sceptical......the last two weeks- suden beginnings and endings- I will never forget this time....even stranger I went from this interview to a counselling centre in our town, and who should walk in 1/2 hour later- my boss. He asked what I was doing there, I refrained from giving a reply....just smiled...I think the universe meant that odd coincidence to happen as if to say "look after this person who is still healing" Thank you universe, thank you Steve, and no more poor me...

Hello Steve, I read with interest you blog this morning. (The coffee had been made and the cat let out.) In August 1999, "out of the blue," I received a phone call in which the most rewarding and lucrative job of my life was offered to me without my even applying for it. Beginning with last summer's equinox, the most extraordinary, truly astounding events have occurred for me on every subsequent equinox, including Candlemas. Given this, I do hope the "worldwide repercussions" for me will only continue on an upward positive trajectory that is "catalyse." BTW, I am totally engrossed in a project that would be a very positive catalyst for an entire region if I can bring it to fruition. Thank you for your wonderful blog. I shall wait and watch as we approach August 2010.

Interesting...Grand Cross and Solar eclipse of August 1999... remember extremely well!! I completed my DPhil with a viva for the Spring Equinox (!!)after some really hard years and as a result of sheer determination... and August was 'providence', I was given my first job as a researcher and offered a contract to revise and publish my thesis as a book... I remember sitting on the grass at the Uni for that eclipse. I have been grafting just as hard in the last few months, a marathon for survival economically and still waiting for result to materialise..May be 'Grand Crosses' are good for me? Have a job interview tomorrow! LoL...

On 11th August 1995, I left for 6 months in India after a nervous breakdown & rebirthed myself in silent retreat - Vipassana meditation- 3 days after seeing a total solar eclipse from a Rajastani fort in October. My hard drive has been re-wired ever since! I spent the eclipse 11th August 1999 in Cornwall with a friend, who is now my partner of 10 years & father to our 2 kids. On 11th August 2000 I took a 1 day only meditation course with the modern founder of Vipassna - Goenka - here in the UK, a real priveledge. As a busy mum of a 3yr & 6 yr old, I never sit to meditate anymore, but my practice taught me lessons that are part of my path with heart. I feel the calling to start again. I always feel we should 'be the change we want to see in the world'. Inner silence & compassion for all beings is a good place to start! Thanks for your blog, I love it & I learn from it.
