Great radio show yesterday, totally unplanned, all the plans went out of the window about half an hour before I started so it was a wing and a prayer - consequently it turned into the best show for many a long time! Catch the replays if you can... And today's my birthday so excuse me if there's nothing too sombre here. More later, bottle of mead permitting......

Enjoy the day, the mead....let your hair down and have fun! Just a note in these times of change: I enrolled on a three year course of psychotherapeutic counselling and apart from believing it will be incredibly interesting, I need to have a plan for working for the rest of my life, because that's how things stand at the mo, and I would like to think that I could do something of value for others as well as myself that would pay better! I need to get days off, and I might dream of a holiday :) Obviously I believe it will be extremely helpful in supporting my astrological work. Picking up again on that fate and free will question: I saw the course advertised in my local free paper, which I often put straight into the recycling. Reading the ad switched on a light and I found out more. Then I committed to doing it. I couldn't not do it. Many of my decisions are like that. They have to be done. I need to earn more to do the course, but things are changing around me so I know it will be possible. The really, really stunning and exciting upshot of this was an email I received from the course organisers, which was an invitation to do a Shamanic Journey workshop, something I've wanted to do for ages. These events tend to be rather expensive and I confess that I wonder about the legitimacy of some of the people who call themselves shamans. So I am going to do a very inexpensive shamanic workshop through my psychotherapeutic counselling course, how extraordinary is that? I also take it as a very definite 'Yes' I am doing the right thing. Wonderful. If you don't try opening the door, you will never know what is on the other side. (I also know that opening the door can be equivalent to opening a can of worms! but personal responsibility is the thing at all times). Blessings x Ella
