1st April 2009

‘We can either make events to lead us, or we can be lead by events’.  I’ve just this minute heard the Great One utter these words, and despite my ingrated distrust of politicians I still like him.  I’ve also just hear the British leader say that we are within just a few hours of a worldwide agreement around fiscal responsibility, and I just don’t believe that one.  Cleanliness starts at home, and will the British demonstrate their transparency by investigating and publicising the off shore tax avoidance of all of our major newspaper owners, or opening up the tax havens of Jersey, Guernsey or the Isle of Man?  Not a chance.  So what does the astrology say for this month?  Well, the coming week holds the Mars/Saturn opposition.  This is the pimple on top of the boil, I suspect that both globally and personally there will be a lancing of poison, and the first week of the month is definitely seen as a turn about point in dealing with the mess we’re in.  But things are never going to be the same again.  The next five months are times of radical action and innovative decisions; the business of the future is to be experimental.  And as April evolves and Mars comes up to conjunct Uranus, so dramatic actions and events are likely which will epitomise the times we live in.  And the end of the month sees the start of a month long conjunction of Venus and Mars, with the last week of April particularly acute in terms of specific events.  For the last eight months we’ve been reeling and now it’s time to start taking new forms of action, because the old ways don’t work anymore.  The ‘global currency’ draws ever closer, consumerism is dying.  Expect less products in years to come, quality will remain but quantity will reduce.  And if Saturn has been hitting you hard over the last eight months, then this month is the time to make and take both decisions and actions that will change things for ever.  To quote Obama from ten seconds ago – ‘don’t let fear of the present affect the future’.

I think Obama is a man for his time in that I believe he is where he is meant to be doing what he was meant to do at this point in time.I know what you mean about politicians in general "if they want that much power they must be corrupt"but I just get a good gut feeling every time I see this man.I would be interested in seeing something of his astralogical profile. How about it Steve??

Hi Steve, Thanks for the newsletter and I agree with you about Barack Obama. He looks more human than a lot of politicians, and I certainly feel safer with him in The White House than that war-mongering terrorist, Bush. Love and hugs, Xia xx

I wish saturn would find a different solar system to live in.
