What is this temporal arrangement we loosely call time, and what really affects it? Is it gravity, speed, as Einstein says? Is it perception, consciousness, as the new age dictates? Are there planetary indicators? Mercury rules motion, whether mental, verbal or physical, and Mercury is currently standing still in the sky. Saturn rules structure and order, he's also known as Old Father Time, and Saturn is currently standing still in the sky. Both planets that astrologically rule time are stationary. Once again, most of the clocks in my house have stopped. The local city clock has stopped after going wrong. Time seems to be slipping away. Maybe it's just me because I work with time so much, but I'd be interested to hear of any other tales concerning the current passing (or not) of what passes for time. OK, Cancerians, stop hiding under that rock and get out here. Time to face up to a few things, i.e. that most of you are obsessed with your mothers, your kitchens and other people's chests, regardless of gender. The kitchen is your temple, and heaven help anyone who tries to reorganise it. And as for those famous moods....... one wrong word, or look, especially first thing in the morning is enough to set you off. Give these moody gits sensitive souls their five minutes of psychic space and they're fine. The only way they get angry is if their security is threatened, so be rude or derogatory about their home at your peril.

Time for me has been feeling elastic - sometimes, i have felt as though half an hour must have passed, and its only been a few minutes, and sometimes, the opposite has been true. Also, the more I have done, the more time I have seemed to have, when on days with not much happening, the time has whizzed past....

Hear Hear... everything is stuck like a fly in a bowl treacle. Nothing is moving forward, projects are at a standstill and any efforts or energy spent trying to make things move are absolutely vain... it is like pedalling a bicyle at high speed and realising that there is no chain to transmit this to move the wheels. Exhausting..... please, release us.......

All my projects are stuck little to no movement over these past few days. What movement there is side to side -not forward. Mercury I can't wait till you start to engage and release me from this quagmeyer known as retrograde....

We've been trying to complete on the sale of our home and the buying of another during May's Mercury retrograde. Its been one of the most stressful and difficult bits of business I've ever been involved in. I'm just so glad it's over and Mercury and my family can get going again.

What? Mercury and Saturn have stopped? I don't get it...surely they haven't stopped dead completely? Plus i have a question...As we know, Saturn along with all the other planets has it's own characteristics/personality and energy, which we expereince and are influenced by. But if i lived on Saturn or another planet.... what personality, characteristics and energies would i experience coming from Earth? How would The Earth influence me if I decided to move to Saturn or Uranus?

I am a Virgo with Leo ascending and Moon in Sag. I have been severely under attack this past few months, it looks like all my good deeds and hard work are coming back to bite me in the face. I have soooo many hidden enemies in alliances coming out of the woodwork with such intense determination to destroy me, my jaw is dropping literally.

I've noticed the tone of the sun sign "wind-ups" mellow significantly in the last couple of days. A little reticence, perhaps, on the part of our Caustic Astrologer as Mercury grinds to a halt?

I fully agree with the above comments, very frustrating but only a couple of more weeks of this now.. Right Steve? Middle of June you promised, that still stands right...?

I agree with the person who seems to be suddenly under attack. I am a Gemini. The only other thing I have to add is that I am a massage therapist, and I don't know what has made people suddenly feel un-deserving of getting stress relief, but it translates to no income for me since Mercury went retro.
