Saturn stood still a week ago, and is now beginning to move forward.  Mercury stands still in just over thirty hours time (Sunday, 02.22 am UK time) and begins to move forward.  About twelve hours ago, Neptune stood still and began to move retrograde backwards.  If we were on the Sun, we'd never see planets moving backwards.  But because we're on the Earth, some planets move faster or slower than us against the backdrop of the stars, so when we overtake them it appears as if they move backwards.  The outer planets go retrograde every year, Mars every 19 months, Venus five times every eight years ( in perfect pentagonal geometry) and Mercury seven times every two years.  The effects and the lessons of the planet are to be learnt at a more internal level during a retrograde phase, as opposed through direct experience with other or the outside world.  Part 10.  Why to feel sorry for Capricorns.  Well, because almost exclusively they're all stunted emotionally, for starters.  They hate being embarrassed in public, and open and overt shows of affection and emotion towards them make them cringe, or even worse run away.  They need a week off in advance of holiday in order to prepare, relaxation has to be worked at in order to be successful!  Much more affected by other's vibes than they will admit, try making them sit down and relax whilst everyone else rushes around.  It really frazzles them, they start twitching.  Truly, they need more fun.  Responsibility, structure and authority are all very well, but they need a bit of slapstick.  Conversely, many clowns are Capricorns, but they're the melodramatic ones.  And if you really want to get on their bad sides, remind them of their lowly position.  Constantly, loudly and in public.

Dear Sir, I wish to complain about the one-sided way in which you characterise the sign of Capricorn. Kindly note that at our best, we can also be exceptionally boring, penny-pinching, and highly uncreative - talents which all too often go unnoticed. Sincerely yours, Bea Crank

Capricorn with its ruler saturn (form + time) is the "gate-sign" of this universe. Entrance and exit. With the right aspects in the 1st and 12th house they are very close to ... lets say whatever they really want with their eternity. - No wonder that at the very straight opposite of this (wheel of star signs) we find the "natural enemy": a poor cancer. Moody, dancing around, pre-occupied, ironic, mechanic, and sometimes careless and poisenous. And - understandable - with Merkur retro "a headless chicken". In other words: at its best straight humanoid. A true capricorn actually is longing for these retrogrades as they make it very easy for him to inspect his progress, nessessary corrections come easy. true and light. Capricorn hard to grasp for a cancer? - No. Impossible to grasp. The monumental and historic konjunction of Neptun/Chiron with Jupiter blows a lot of cover ups. As we notice in all professions. We all suddenly can SEE the real thing, and after that, of course, they are sorry. - Mainly because of the detection of this little ... many explanations and justications ... blah blah blah ... just like the MPs. Any truth is monumental. And of course, a capricorn can make jokes as well. For example: a cancer can be a good advisor.

One of my latest favourite pieces of music- aptly entitled Poker Face is how I'd sum up the Capricorns I know best( my mum) Why do they have to be so over-organised, and dour? Every cup has to be washed up the second after they have had a drink... in fact their entire life is organised like a military operation...They need to chill out big time.

The Jesus complex statement is interesting- my mum is far to religious for her own good. However as for Cancer and Capricorns- my father was a Cancer, and you could not have met a more intelligent, intellectual, honest, kind and creative man. Most of his life was spent trying to help the underdog-i.e Romany gypsies that were being endlessly moved on by local councils, and also he was a great supporter of North American Indian tribes that were not being helped by the American Government. Although my mother was a Capricorn, they had a happy marriage lasting many years, somehow she seemed to be the grounding force behind some of his more zany ideas, he definitely needed that...
