It’s an industrious time with no obvious drawbacks or challenges, but at the same time it isn’t a month of great achievement. By working hard now at the physical level you can put in place solid structures that will nurture and protect you in coming months whilst you’re off doing other things, so January is very much a month for setting your stall out and slowly but solidly shaping the future. You’ll find that by putting your nose to the grindstone and staying relatively low you can deflect much opposition.

The first few days of the year see the potential for many words to be spoken but not a lot of action, so take your time getting up to speed. But by the second week of the month you should notice a degree more positivity in the ways of dealing with the professional world, and the odds become steadily more increased in your favour. It’s about having the confidence to take a few chances, based on the theory that positivity breeds success. But take your time developing yourself – there’s many a slip twixt cup and lip.
Romance and Relationship
There’s no harm in sometimes strutting your stuff, and right now your visibility levels seem to be high, so why not take advantage of this and shine like the Sun at midday? You’re a bit like a tropical bird showing its plumage in order to attract a mate, except that you’re not quite that blatant. All the same, if you’re single you shouldn’t have that much trouble attracting like minded souls, and if partnered, then I suggest the pair of you head for the big city lights and prepare for world domination

Recent changes in the world around you are making you look at life in ways that you’ve not done before, and you can’t help but become more aware of the choices that are going to be asked of you in months and years to come. This month is like a microcosm of the coming years, and you should think twice before jumping to hasty decisions, especially where friends are involved. Sometimes good friends can see things better than you, and this may be the case now. Good month to count to ten sometimes.

2009
The big deal during 2009 is that there is no big deal. A few of you, mainly those born close to March 22nd -24th, will get hammered by Pluto insisting that death and rebirth are part of your life this year at least at the metaphorical level, and you have to reinvent yourself in order to avoid the manipulative and agenda ridden tactics of others indisposed to your well being. But with the exception of these people, the rest of you have a relatively easy year. There are opportunities developing over the whole year in areas concerning group, community, friends and your position in the world, and you’ll find yourself increasingly popular as 2009 progresses. There’s no sign of major disruption, or for that matter circumstances outside of your control holding you back. Some of you (mainly those born around the 13th-15th April) are in for a more rewarding year than those of recent times. But the advice for almost all of you over the coming year is to build your energies up in readiness for 2010, because that’s when you’ll really kick into overdrive.
