Month commencing 1st January 2009
You’re entering the most concentrated period of the year in terms of your one to one interactions with others, and it may be that this month’s situations and developments could be way over the top and much larger than life. Don’t let exaggeration and hyperbole rule the month, and all will be well. You have all of the coming year to experiment and experience so there’s no need to rush head first into situations. I don’t mind you being in love, it’s the falling in love that I’m worried about. Knights in shining armour and lovelost princesses are the stuff of fantasy, and fantasy stays between the ears. The imagination however, over a period of months, can be created.
Business and Finance
With both Jupiter and Mercury in your opposing sign, the tendency to work with others at the one to one level and to want to expand your operations is going to be strong, but this is completely the wrong course of action. There could be a degree of miscommunication or misunderstanding which somehow slips through without being noticed, which could lead to major problems a few months down the line, so make sure that all communication with ‘other’ is clear and understood, at least as best as you can.
Romance and Relationship
Your needs and desires for more personal attention are becoming more obvious as this year moves on, and it’s hard to think of you as being alone or lonely apart from by direct choice. But you’re not looking for anyone in particular. If Prince Charming just happens to arrive at your feet you may consider him, but somewhere deep down you’re aware that the later months of this year offer even greater rewards, where either current or new situations will offer better benefits and people will treat you more equally.
Health and Spirit
There’s a background level of irritation and frustration, a bit like an itch that you can’t scratch, and if you focus too much on it you’ll miss the bigger picture by getting distracted by the minutiae. Sometimes it’s just better to not even try to understand, and instead accept that there are some things that simply go beyond rational explanation. This will free up a lot of brain space which can then be directed to better use by working out (for example) inter personal dynamics, which are brewing nicely this month.

2009
The year starts well with a number of opportunities developing over the first few months which are seemingly very positive. Indeed, for most of you born before 9th August, this is indeed the case. However, those of you born after this time and especially around 16th -20th August are advised to be cautious around developments from the start of April. The advice at this time is to take a maximum of one third of chances available as there will be many knights in shining armour and situations promising more than they can deliver. Similar situations re-occur at the end of the year, when the advice is to take three quarters of chances available in the knowledge that things will work out better, but in the early part of 2009 it’s best to pace yourself. If you push too hard too fast, you’ll find yourself on a limb and unsupported, so take your time and don’t believe everything that you’re initially told. If things are going to go over the top in any way then this will be during May and early June, so this is the time of detached and impersonal judgement.
PLUTO is not touching you strongly this year but NEPTUNE is confusing and depressing the energies for those of you born between August 15-19. URANUS and SATURN don't paticularly affect you, but JUPITER is strong for most of you, particularly if you're born around either the 9th or the 19th August.
MARS comes to stay between from October 16th to the end of the year, Venus from the 26th August to the 20th September, and MERCURY from 17th July to the 2nd August. The Leo full Moon is on February 9 and the Leo new Moon on August 20.
