You can now safely take a deep breath, because all of the big boys and the bullies have gone away, and they’re not coming back for a long time. 2009 will be one of the calmer years of your life. Although the temptation this month will be to relax and chill out after recent exertions, those of you willing to go that extra mile can reach new levels of assertiveness, which could feasibly do wonders for your material resources and your financial situation. It’s worth taking a few extra chances because any opposition has moved on and the universe seems to be smiling benignly on you. Operate less visibly but more effectively and you’ll be surprised how well recent months have sharpened you.
Business and Finance
For many of you the challenge and examinations of recent months seem to be ongoing, but actually they are past their peak – just! Indeed, some of you, although mainly those born in November, are in with a shout of improving your financial status as the month develops. But friends and money don’t mix this month, so make your choices cleanly and leave no room for misunderstanding or confusion. Cut a few losses, step back and start to recharge again – normal service is resumed at the end of February.
Romance and Relationship
You can look back now and start taking stock of the developments of recent months, knowing that there’s nothing new coming up that’s going to pull the rug from underneath your feet and that you’re on increasingly safer ground. This may mean that the knife edge tempo of recent months disappears, which may in turn make you thin that you’re losing your edge, but you can’t live like that all the time, and now it’s correct to step back from the front line and recharge your batteries for future times.
Health and Spirit
It’s only really those of you born a couple of days either side of the 11th who are under pressure, the majority are having one of the least stressful times of recent years. Nevertheless, there is a need to wrap up situations from the past and close doors permanently, not leaving and scraps that could suddenly re-emerge in future times and inconveniently surprise you. Better to be clinical now and finish things once and for all rather than let them linger on painfully.

2009
A mixed year, with some of you doing well and others under challenge, the dominant factor is the tightrope you seem to be walking between the need for both stability and change, and the main challenge in this is not to panic and to remember that you’re totally sane and it’s the rest of the world that’s mad! Admittedly, not all of you are under this pressure, but those born from 6th to 12th December need to cut a few losses in the first part of the year, whilst those of you born from 13th to 18th will come under increasing challenge from March onwards to allow change to become a more vibrant factor in life. At the same time, there will be chances and opportunities for positive change during April and May for many of you, so when mixing the energies of change, restructure and risk, it’s clear that this will not be a quiet year. You can’t stay the same but neither can you throw it all up in the air, so 2009 is a chance to live within your own limitations instead of those put on you by others, but also to take chances and stretch boundaries.
