Thanks to the good people I met in Dunster, Exter and the New forest over the weekend, all forty one of you - hope you enjoyed your readings. And now the universe has decreed that I shall disappear for ninety six hours, and rest my bones in hot water. Back on Friday, and THIS should keep some of you going - the oddity of the year.
13 November 09.20
And what a full Moon that was, very high in the sky up here in the northern hemisphere, must have been practically invisible from Oz and NZ. And both the Sun and Moon were strongly square Medium-long term, there’s a narrowing and focussing of options from now through to mid February, with all the planets in the heavens except Saturn grouping tighter and tighter together, with a few specific trigger times – the Venus/Jupiter conjunction at the end of November (should be good to see on the western horizon just after sunset), the Mars/Pluto conjunction is late December (explosive – particularly in the chart of Pakistan) and the Aquarian new Moon on the 26th January, when everything is practically in the same spot, one heck of a line up, with possible geo-physical results. And – from me, go HERE UK time on Friday at 11.00 (live), Monday at 16.00 and Wednesday at 18.00 for my take on the upcoming month’s astrological activity, with all things contemporary, cultural and cantankerous in the astrological world, and specific comments on Saturn/Uranus, Uranus/Pluto and astrological concepts of re-incarnation through the use of the North Node. And HERE is my fourth favourite crop circle of the year, I went in it the day after it came down, and then to everyone’s surprise the next day it had doubled in size! Awesome.
10 November 11.50
A big thank you to the honest burghers of And up there, the planets are tightening up and gathering together, with the exception of Saturn. I’m busy writing January and February forecasts, so I’m almost living then instead of now but it’s clear that the coming months until end February are revolutionary in the true sense of the word, revolving in upwardly and inwardly spiralling circles to a point of transcendence. The next 120 days will shape the next five years, and situations global and personal beginning in late 87/early 88 will be resolved one way or another. Are you/we the puppet or the puppeteer? Financially, we’ve stepped down a gear this week, there won’t be as much mad panic. But this is a brief respite, because the end of the month brings sudden developments that again change the long term fiscal outlook. AND – for those of you who missed my show on Friday, it was the best one yet. My radio shows are raw, rough and uncultured at the moment, (just a little bit like me!) but they are also absolutely cutting edge astrology with raucous and irreverent humour. You can catch a repeat of Friday’s show HERE today at 16.00 and Wednesday at 18.00

Up there? Well, if you got hammered in early 1988 then the coming nine weeks are going to be increasingly significant to you. Jupiter, Saturn and Uranus are dancing well now, I expect the markets to go through more major change but of a different vein during the latter two weeks of this month. I am worried about a feisty and explosive Mars/Pluto conjunction in place over the New Year, especially in or concerning And me. Suffering from the Saturn/Uranus opposition, it’s hitting me hard and my creativity has gone out of the window temporarily but I’m back now, as you’ll hear if you go HERE at 11.00
04 Nov 21.01
Saturn/Uranus – order and chaos, structure and surprise, reformation and revolution. A need for change within a structured vehicle. The chance to revolutionise limitations whilst also building to last. Is he the chosen one? His chart says so, and I’m sure he’s really Kennedy in disguise – will Camelot rise again?. Is the once and future king to be found outside these shores, in Amerika? I hope so, I truly do……

And if you’re someone who buys willingly into the collective charade and perpetuates self disempowerment then you’ve woken up to another mental day where the foundations of the modern world tremble. Volatility and sudden shifts create an edginess, suiting the vampiric chaos energy that feeds on it. Alternatively if you’re pragmatic you can step outside of the loop, albeit briefly, see the whole picture and realise that what is happening is necessary in order for evolution to progress. Of course, the whole thing may be the deluded ramblings of my riven mind; I’m not as objective as I’d like to be when planetary and species evolution is threatened, I save that detached and impersonal behaviour for my clients. At the end of the day, life’s too short to procrastinate and too full of wonder not to enjoy it as though every moment is your last. I’m beginning to sound like Eckhart Tolle. And – TODAY, this morning at 11.00

The curse of Mercury retrograde! I was doing well handling the crisis and blogging in what I thought was a sensible way – and then I blew it yesterday, got my facts wrong – the Mercury retrograde ends tonight at 21.06 And – I’ve got one space left on the Saturday and three on the Sunday for this weekend’s session of readings in
14 Oct 18.50
Less than two hours until full Moon in Aries, with a really strong Saturn/Uranus opposition being broken up nicely by Jupiter. Translate: a wonderful opportunity to do things differently, to begin anew from a more balanced perspective. This brings the potential to either destroy or incorporate the old, and I suggest the new needs the old at its core to provide experience. This is the start of the planetary ‘coming of age’, and if we haven’t collectively initiated this by the end of November then we’re probably screwed. And there’s about fifty hours until the end of the current Mercury retrograde.
13 Oct 17.55
A big thank you to all the good people I met in And it’s an Aries full Moon tomorrow, surprisingly light in terms of effect considering what else is going on in the world. Mercury is standing still now until Thursday evening 10 Oct 08.43
When I look south in the sky on the walk to work I see Sirius, the brightest star in the sky, the diamond star, with the belt of Orion pointing to it. When I look south in the sky on the walk home I see Jupiter in the same place, which fits because they’re astronomically opposing each other this month. The king of the stars and the king of the planets, with the earth and us in the middle. Hmmmmm...... And this is my voice in the wilderness plea, the voice of the last sane man: Don’t buy into it. It’s still Mercury Retrograde dummy, we don’t have the facts and it’s hype and spin. Yes, this is the correction part one, but hold your nerve. In a short time there will be bargains to be had, with specific days over next weekend where things bottom out and intelligent people with liquidity start investing again in small green cars, in budget hotels, in localised micro climate as opposed to corporate multinational. And – recorded yesterday, go here at 11.00
9 Oct 18.51
And Mercury’s beginning to stand still. It’s still five full days until it stops going retrograde, but the first signs of slowdown in the manicness are becoming visible. This is the end of the beginning of the correction, and the ways in which we change our behaviour over the coming six weeks will very much dictate results at the next astrological crunch point during the last ten days of November. From now until early February is a concentrated time of focused energy, with all the planets in the sky except Saturn drawing ever closer as January approaches. 6 Oct 09.12
Dance as though no-one is watching you, Love as though you have never been hurt before, and Sing as though no-one can hear you. There are huge waves coming at us all from all directions so don't try and hold course, flow with the go instead. Remain inside your bubble and don't take it all too seriously. Another ten days and it will be less dramatic.

Briefly - due to phone company incompetence (don't talk to me about Mercury xxxxxx!) radio show is still not live as in live, but can be accessed on The Caustic Astrologer at www.glastonburyradio.net at both 16.00 and 19.00 UK time tomorrow, Monday. I disect Obama, Biden and Gemini's, give my take on the week ahead plus much more. And seriously for just one sentence - I keep picking up 'incoming!' strongly for the next 2-3 days, so shields up and bullxxxt detectors at the ready. And you want to know who I think would make the best next president? Go here (well, it is Mercury retrograde, I suspect this link may not be live for long) and watch to the end!

If what we're being told by the powers that be and their media is true, it's the biggest economic crisis in our history. Literally hundreds of bankers and politicians and assorted fat cats will lose their privilege. Financial services, insurance scams - sorry, schemes - , credit card companies, corrupt pension management - much of this will go to the wall. And it's Mercury Retrograde! I'm sat here laughing at it all wondering if I'm the only sane one left on planet! And then, just as I begin to finally take it seriously, enter the Irish. Gauranteeing 100% of deposits, to the chagrin of all other western banks, who daren't do that. And the Irish own the UK post office, courtesy of Margaret Thatcher, so expect rapid turn arounds in both Irish fortunes and banks attitudes! Most of you know that I've been ranting about this time for months, what's going on is really the softening up process in readiness for the attempted withdrawal of cash, and the emergent control through credit. And Pluto into Capricorn, the transormation of world government and the global politic? Somehow, at the corner of my being, I know this one. It's similar to Pluto in Scorpio twenty five years ago and the fear of nuclear annihalation we lived under. And no matter how much we are sucked dry or bled, they can't kill the magic or the spirit. Yeehah!
29 Sep 09.13
The hardest lesson to learn is that permanent growth is not sustainable. Jupiter is about big growth and expansion, optimism and wisdom. It is also about over indulgence, expenditure, reaching and overweight. Jupiter in Capricorn tells us that the structures of the world have become too bloated, too many parasites feeding off too little substance and that a correction is necessary. As I write it is new Moon in Libra on the Mars/Saturn midpoint, representing the current and coming anger at the inequality of existing structures and the gluttony and greed resultant from unregulated policies. We collectively need a kind of conservative socialism, or a socialist Conservatism, something new not based on permanent growth. If you don’t stop sometimes and let yourself slip back, how can you gain impetus for the next leap? To my mind anyone who invests or speculates for constant gain is dumb. Jupiter is after all a ball of hot gas, promising more than he delivers. Believe me – this situation is being made much larger than it really is.
26 Sep 18.49
To paraphrase McKenna ‘Human history represents such a break with the biological order of organisms that preceded it that it must represent a break out of convention’. For the first time in six billion years, responsibility for the evolution of a species has been given to the species itself. And what a mess we’re making of it. The debacle in the

Reply to a number of requests - my radio show is repeated today at 18.00 UK time on www.glastonburyradio.net. And I will be discussing both Pluto into Capricorn and Neptune in Aquarius during this Friday's new show at 11.00 UK time.

I’m bucking the trend here, and from an astrological position standing up for Gordon Brown. Many of you know that my politics, whilst clearly green activist, have a left wing tinge even though I believe that (with the exception of Thatcher) Tony Blair has done more damage to the UK than any other leader. Brown is old school, and with both Pluto and Uranus making enlivening and positive aspects in his chart next year I think that given the chance and not railroaded out of town he will look after this country, and if his ideas are listened to later this week by the American bankers, he could even turn them around. And given the conversion of the American right to socialist nationalising principles, this is possible. Perhaps I’m old fashioned – but I think that electricity, gas and water belong to the people, not shareholders, and that they should be re-nationalised.
22 September 10.33
Today is Equinox, equal day and night for one brief moment everywhere on the planet. The Earth is in a momentary state of equilibrium with its celestial progenitor, the Sun. Temporarily ignore the madness of current times and reach for that so rarely available balance point within yourself, find the stasis at your core and bring it out into what passes for the real world. This Equinox marks the start of the transition for humanity from one state of consciousness into another. The best thing that you can do for both yourself and the planet, for now and for the future, is to do things happily, unconditionally, and knowing that it is by conscious choice. It is time to do the dark dance, and to welcome winter in (apologies to southern hemisphere readers). Cycles, over time, wear ruts. But spirals evolve…….

Those who read me regularly will have a feel for my stuff, so read between the lines here. In November this year comes the first of five exact Saturn-Uranus oppositions over twenty one months. As it happens, this first pass is ameliorated by having Jupiter both trine Saturn and sextile Uranus. Saturn/Uranus, over the coming two years, will bring permanent and probably disruptive changes into our ways of structured and orthodox lifestyle. This November, with Jupiter, the king of the gods, beneficially aspecting both of these gargantuan behemoths (remember that in myth, Saturn castrated his father, Uranus), there is a one-off brief window of magnificent opportunity to take chances safely and constructively revolutionise our economic and social ways of life. Failure to do so will yield unthinkable challenges within two years. For thousands of generations our ancestors have dreamt of this time, when an understanding of purpose and our place in space and time is finally available. And astrologically, everything since the mid 1950’s has been accelerating and building to this time, when we can shake off the past and embrace the future. Exciting, isn’t it?
18 Sep 20.01
The events of recent days in the economic world echo the statements I made recently on the 31st August (see below) ‘I also note the next full Moon, strongly conjunct Uranus. There will be sudden and probably disruptive events shortly which will change the whole dynamic.’ This is the end of crony capitalism and of monetarism such as expounded by Thatcher and the right. It is the policies of the right that have caused this, through deregulation leading to greed. This is the end of excess profit, and if you think that recent days have seen the worse, think again. The end of November this year will bring further developments which will further alter the dynamic in ways as yet indiscernible.
Now – SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT. Tomorrow at 11am
16 Sep 20.00
Nice big conjunction up there with Mercury, Venus and Mars all in the same place. But guess what? Soon, less than two weeks, it’s Mercury retrograde again, until the middle of October. And I’m finding that this one is striking early, with lots of communication problems, misunderstandings and confusion over the last few days. Have a look at your chart and see what house the middle of Libra occupies, and don’t make any new permanent decisions in that area of your life for another few weeks. There will not be any real clarity in the

And what an electrical full Moon that was! On a whim, we went to an outdoor dance event for about 3,000 people hidden in the chalk valleys of Wiltshire and just danced and danced. This full Moon (actually a couple of hours before writing this) represents a chance to break old dependency patterns and to usher in more flexible and inclusive systems, whether it’s personal relationships, UK politics or US banks, those that are left. September newsletter will be up under the button as of tonight
12 Sep 09.22
Political parties, corporations, governments, hierarchical organisations – we’ve needed them for so long to provide structure and safety as we’ve evolved, but now as we emerge into the new consciousness (Uranus) we don’t need these old structures (Saturn). But they won’t go willingly, and if fought against they only get stronger. Both left and right wing politics, if taken to their logical conclusion, end up in a kind of Orwellian situation where the Ministry for Truth rules the machine. But the new holistic consciousness shows a way out by disempowering them as major rulers of your life and constantly reminding them of how much they don’t matter any more. Yes, at this time we still need the structures, but don’t let them rule your life. Be strong in your invulnerability, laugh at them, smile at them – negativity can’t exist where there is humour. 11 Sep 19.36 Over the next day or so the Sun opposes Uranus in the sky. I fully expect something out of the ordinary to develop, and because heliocentrically Jupiter is involved I wouldn’t be surprised if some type of geophysical phenomena developed. The coming Uranus – Saturn opposition, from now for the next two years, is strange. Chaos and order, revolution and tradition, anarchy and stability. Bernadette Brady describes it nicely when she says that it will be a mixture of structure and surprise, a saying I’ve plagiarised in some of my recent readings. Can’t say that I’m looking forward to it, but at least it will bully us into shape. 11 Sep 10.44 The ongoing conjunction of Mercury, Venus and Mars in Libra has been at stretching point over recent days, there’s an energy of over – everything, whether it’s expenditure, weight, indulgence, reaching or expectancy. It’s just fading away for most of us, although Virgos born around the 3rd are right in the mix, as are Pisceans born around the 2nd, but that’s Saturn for you, restrictive and restructuring. And in four days, it’s what is to me the most powerful full Moon of the year, conjunct Uranus and bringing further change into an already overheated world situation. And if you think that the world isn’t changing fast, then consider – the most right wing administration in recent decades suddenly nationalising the nation's mortgage brokers – good socialist principles there, I reckon. I swear I saw McCain months ago referring to Hilary with the words ‘lipstick on a pig’, but hey ho, that’s politics. Unless there’s new scandal, I think the Republicans will just edge it, although McCain won’t last the full four years. And yes, my little surprise? You’ll have to wait a little bit longer, but I’m going to have a much bigger media presence soon. 9 Sep 18.58 I’ve had requests to define ‘holistics’ as future investment potentials. The idea of holistics is the antithesis of greed and excessive profit. It was birthed into the mass consciousness in 1978/9 with the onset of complementary and alternative therapies and medicines and the synchronous discovery of Chiron, since when they’ve steadily plugged away until the present time where they are finally getting the recognition and attention they deserve, despite increasingly hostile regulations. A holistic company is one where the work force are personally integrated with themselves and others and work in a co-operative and friendly, non competitive atmosphere that encompasses the bigger picture but embraces individuality and self empowerment. A happy work force leads to a happy company, and the principle of holism is that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Synergy really. And we need that holistic approach tomorrow, Wednesday, just on the off chance that world does end when they switch that machine on in 8 Sep 19.32 Solid back to back readings today, catching up with the backlog, waiting list is down to a few days………. Every so often I’ll find a theme recurrent in the day’s readings, and today’s theme was Chiron, which I have always associated with horses and issues to do with the heel and the ankle, but am increasingly finding also affecting one’s capacity for snowboarding, base jumping, parachuting, skiing, motorbike riding, anything involving throwing one’s body through the air. I wonder if there’s an Icarus connection here? And still they come..... go here. 5 Sep 10 54 What I’ve noticed over the years is that when Jupiter and Saturn make beneficial aspects to each other, as they’re starting to do now and for the next four months, the markets go monkey-poo. And with the Sun’s conjunction with Saturn and its trine to Jupiter yesterday, the massive drops in the stock markets world wide come as no surprise. Why the mad psychotic push towards ‘investment’? Surely it’s about security and safety rather than speculation, or is that just my Cancerian nature? To me, house is where you live, sleep, eat, love and work from. But home is where you’re safe and can close the door. Most of my friends don’t care about rates or market fluctuations, they want a home. It’s not about investing money to get ‘a return’ any more, it’s about finding something worthwhile to put your money into, providing you’ve got some in the first place. Seven years ago, I advised my clients to buy gold, when it was $350 an ounce, now $800. Two years ago I advised my clients to buy arable land, now double in price, and outside of 4 Sep 19.42 Someone sent me Sarah Palin’s chart, and I couldn’t help but look……. Jupiter retrograde opposing Mercury suggests a capacity for over reaching herself and getting in too deep, but the real meat is the opposition of Mars and Saturn, which almost without fail I find in issues of anger, either suppressed and repressed which manifests as aggression and violence, or expressed, through athletics, martial arts etc. But I find this common in issues concerning difficult male role models. McCain as a surrogate father figure? Oh no, what am I getting myself into here? Quick, go here for the most amazing dance you’ve ever seen – and watch till the end! 2 Sep 19.35 The old cynical me of two or three years ago would have blithely suggested that the Republicans have already thrown in the towel. I just don't understand American politics. Clinton left with a huge surplus of payments which GW promptly spent on war, and now the Republicans will let the others in for another eight years to rebuild the finances so that they can spend it again when they get re-elected in 2016? The old paranoid me would have thought of a surgical strike between the election and the inauguration, committing the US to further warfare regardless of the occupancy of the White House. And there's a mega conjunction of the Moon, Mercury, Venus and Mars in the sky tonight, so wherever you are look to the sunset point just after dusk. 31 Aug 22.08 Yesterday’s dark Moon conjunct Saturn will bring an unparalleled rise in issues concerning teamwork, both individually and globally. This is the end of the prelude, and the beginning of the real crunch. The next few days will be very ‘saturnine’, and with Russia doing it’s wounded bear act and Gustav coming in fast I note the heroic acts of courage showed by GWB and DC who have sacrificed going to their party convention and receiving the accolades of their fans in order to ‘be there’ for the people of New Orleans. Better late than never? I also note the next full Moon, strongly conjunct Uranus. There will be sudden and probably disruptive events shortly which will change the whole dynamic. And, like a lot of you, I can’t get Hilary out of my mind. And, like many of you, I’ve got a steadily increasing headache over recent days. 28 Aug 06.21 I’m reading Megalithic Measure and Rhythms by Anne Macaulay at the moment, she’s the musician and archaeologist who continued and expanded on the work of Professor Alexander Thom, who first measured the stone circles of the 23 Aug 06.46 In seperate emails yesterday I described Pluto as both a pussycat and a killer. Pluto just is, he trundles along in the background, working almost totally at the level of the un and subconscious, the transpersonal and the truly psychic. Every so often he lights up and then it's serious, like a volcano on amphetamines. Transits of Mars can activate him: the next significant one comes during the Christian holiday of 25 December period, and is very strong in the chart of Pakistan. 22 Aug 06.45 And another client says: Doesn't Pluto always feel as if one's testicles are being twisted? Along with everything else..... 21 Aug 16.17 I had a client today asking me if Pluto moving into Capricorn represents the twisting the testicles of the unconscious and forcing it to land and ground itsef. Food for thought..... 20 Aug 19.37 So what’s the astrology? The next new Moon, conjunct Saturn with a triple conjunction of Mercury, Venus and Mars next door in Libra is hugely significant. The following full Moon is strongly conjunct Uranus. Again, Saturn and Uranus. This combination will become increasingly familiar language over the coming three years as the opposition between these two hots up. I’ve always seen the interaction between these two as difficult (Saturn castrated Uranus, his father), it’s where sudden breaks in the order of things happen. What most people aren’t even considering is that the economic events over the last eight months aren’t really the downturn – they’re potentially only the prelude. This is the end of excessive profit, and will culminate in August 2010. The coming three weeks, post Olympic euphoria, may be quite upsetting as some things irrevocably come to an end. And there has to be an end before a new beginning can emerge. The flexible will benefit, whilst the intransigent will collapse. There is a sense of emergence of something new building in the background, hopefully something wonderful. So clear the decks. Don’t you just love celestial geometry?
Be sure that the escalating violence in the 13 Aug 20 37 I got this from Lucy Fleetwood, Bath's other good astrologer. Hope you like it. I walk down the street. There is a hole in the pavement. I fall in it.................. I walk down the street. There is a hole. I pretend that I don't see it. I fall in again........... I walk down the same street. There is a hole. I fall in again - it's becoming a habit. I know where I am, I get out................. I walk down the same street. There is a hole. I walk round it........ I walk down a different street. 7 Aug 10.26 And don't give any of that baseless numerical nonsense about 080808. It's rooted on a hypothetical birth date for the latest avatar, based on a decision by the council of Nicea in 319AD, centuries later than the events it attempted to fix in time. Humbug and balderdash. It amazes me that people buy into this nonsense. However, there is something to the Mayan stuff, there's evidence to support it. And tomorrow - 080808 - is my partner's 50th birthday. She's my goddess. 7 August 05.56 The current Mars/Uranus opposition in the heavens is bring up impulsive and impatient stuff for lots of my clients and friends, so using them as a thermometer for the world suggests that the craziness of the last week is set to continue and perhaps even escalate until Mars moves into Libra on the 19th. It’s particularly affecting those born September and March 10-13, so stay active but low if you’re of those days. ‘It’s the business of the future to be dangerous.’ Hmm, maybe not dangerous or risky, but novel or original chances taken now will work out. Boredom is not an option. And the season finale draws closer - go here and here. 4 August 10.20 Never attribute to malice what can be adequately explained by stupidity. That’s an old saying which could easily be used to describe what current politicians in the
Sun signs and phone lines are updated for August.....there's a total eclipse happening over Greenland and Siberia, and sure enough in the last two minutes I've been outside to have a look at the Sun and the top left 15% is occluded. But what does it mean? Very little to most of us, and good news for those few it does hit. But the total lunar eclipe in two weeks is much more significant. Here's what the current eclipse looks like from Mir.
30 Jul 20.43 Monday morning at 7.30, after two hours of on foot searching, I went into here. It had formed the day before, and I was either the first or second person in there. I spent two-three hours alone in there, and some things have changed forever me. I’m taking big decisions in my life, even with Uranus squaring everything in my chart at the moment, and of course there’s a partial solar eclipse in the coming few days. Talk about temporary temples……….. 26 Jul 17.26 Yesterday was just awesome, I got completely taken out for a few hours, the swallows crp circle was easily the most powerful one i've been in for a number of years. Now for something completely different. As some of you may know the only thing I like more that astrology, my partner and crop circles is dancing. So go here and press play. 25 Jul 7.53 Not astrology, but possibly more than..... This morning at about 1 am we were driving down a UFO alley, about five miles south of Avebury and I really got the shivers. I didn't tell my partner, but I was suddenly chilled to the bone, all my hair stood on end and I got goose bumps all over. So I'm off today to the magic lands to see what I can see. I'll comment further in about ten hours time, but this last month has been very strange indeed, as though there's some type of attractor in the future that is right on the point of bursting into our consciousness. There seems to be a call from the soon to bring it into the now, if that makes sense. It's like genetic time bombs, both in the fields and in our consciousness. It's going to be an interesting set of eclipes over the coming few weeks, particularly the lunar one. And Switzerland? 23 Jul 10.56 Sunday night I had acupuncture, and have had a strong reaction of suppressed rage since then. So to find out on Monday night that the estate agents trying to sell the flat we rent had accidentally double locked us out of our home brought out my current Uranus transits strongly, especially as I'm finally beginning to grow into my Cancerian side and I consider my home private. So yesterday morning I got to the manager and had a few select choice words such as amateur, incompetent and unprofessional. Give them their due, this morning there was a new set of keys, a bottle of wine and a bunch of flowers, but I've learnt a great phrase. If you ever want to get to speak to someone normally unavailable at the top of an organisation, here's what you say to the minnion who initially answers your phone call: 'You're not paid enough to handle the level of personal grief that I'm about to dish out. Pass me over and listen in on the quiet'. And it just keeps getting better. Go here 21 Jul 09.47 What a weekend! Dinner on Friday night with nine other astrologers, with roughly 240 years of astrological practice between the ten of us, followed by two full on days of readings in Weston Super Mare and Salisbury. Many thanks to the hosts for these days, and a big heads up to the nineteen new clients I met. Slowly catching up with emails and phone calls, but still another week away from finishing the outstanding lists. And today? With Moon opposite both Mars and Saturn, it’s a funny day, when repercussions and echoes of recent hard fought battles and decisions can suddenly flare up, so be aware that it’s a bit both sullen and feisty out there, and don’t let your buttons get pushed by delays, incompetence or impatience. Oh, and go here. 19 Jun 16.50 Longest break of my blogging life, it's not often I don't write. I blame Mercury retrograde, which ended a few hours ago. And that full Moon conjunct Pluto last night, which has wrung me out to dry. So go here, here, here, here, here for a bit of pi from the sky and especially here for something that if it's real it truly amazing. 6 Jun 23.12 Where now Hilary? I still reckon she'll be Pres, if not today then tomorrow. Many astrologers have written that the inauguration chart suggests that the next incumbent of the White House will not serve a full term. And - I've been asked by a couple of people how many readings I'd require to go to Australia. If there's any interest, let me know. And - health and safety gone mad - there are moves in the UK to ban sword dancing because it's dangerous. Two thousand years of tradition going just like that. And better late than never - go here.
I’m in the Daily Mail again this week for three days, subbing for Jonathan Cainer. Regular readers, clients and friends know that I occasionally refer to the Daily Mail in slightly derogatory terms, but as many of you said to me last time ‘why bother preaching to the converted?’ And it’s still Mercury retrograde. A lot of confusion and uncertainty out there at the moment, people getting quasi-hysterical over nothing. Lousy time for decisions or big actions, wonderful time for experience and experiment. This week is a time of test and trial, not permanence. Surf that wave! 30 May 0745 I'm supposed to be at Sunrise Celebration, but it's been cancelled at the last minute due to flash flooding! Bxxxxy global warming....... Ho hum, another day in the office then. Go here to see five thousand years of British history in sixty seconds, it cheered me up and hopefully will you as well. And it makes me wonder....... Stonehenge and Avebury predate the pyramids in Egypt. Civilisation started there and spread west? I think that our history started on the Atlantic fringe and spread east. 28 May 10.57 On a personal note, thank you to the hosts, friends and new people of
And now it's getting spooky...... go here
I had a dream long ago, where humanity and the animals teamed up together in a war against a really dark grey sticky force, which was getting steadily stronger, and we were getting annihilated. Our defences broke, everyone started to run, and although myself and a few other beings tried to stem the retreat the wave of dark was almost upon us – when suddenly I noticed that the retreating beings had stopped, and were running back towards us, shouting ‘the trees are coming, the trees are coming’. And behind them were armies of pines with their arrows, and oaks striding forward on their roots pulling their sleeves up, and willows bending and filling the gaps, all seriously meaning business. The trees, humans and animals came together and a light happened – then I woke up, in tears, and was upset for days. Today is the second full Moon is Scorpio, at the very end of the sign. It is a reaping Moon. Regardless of war, economics or science, the goddess will have her way, and planetary evolution will occur. Human participation is optional. 16 May 20.25 I find it hard to believe that only a year ago I was writing the sunsign columns only a week before publishing them. Now I find myself doing August, and realising that the world is going to be a very different place by then. Sorry to keep harping on about it, but the closer we get to the first two weeks of July the more I see it as a time of cutting edge action and decision from whence a completely different environment is going to be the reality. Something’s going to give then and if Saturn has been hitting you since September and October of last year, then early July will sort it out, one way or another.
I’ve done about 300 personal or face to face readings so far this year and when I see so many people going through so many different changes, patterns emerge that give me cause for thought. One of the most consistent energies of current times seems to indicate that the upcoming conjunction of Mars and Saturn, over the first two weeks of July, is likely to be a pivotal turning point in many people’s lives. If you’re under major pressure and stress and dealing with situations imposed on you by circumstances outside of your control since September of last year, grin and bear it a little while longer. The deadline for a number of situations is going to be the second week of July, and the advice then is that if things aren’t working out the way you want then cut your losses and walk away. 12 May Lots of people asking me about the US Democratic election – I repeat my earlier assertation that the astrology of Hilary’s chart is pretty damn good at this time, and providing she’s still a contender by early August she’ll probably go on to win it. However, I do hear mutterings about secret sessions in congress about economic collapse – here – which may make any election irrelevant. So easier to see when it’s another country. Right now I’d swap the 8 May 19.21 One of the products of the ongoing Neptune/Chiron/Node conjunction seems to be that individual relationship with whatever you want to call it (God? The universe? Spirit? I call it the upstairs department.) is rapidly developing. Increased sensitivity and intuition are making some of us think we’ve finally lost the plot. This is not the case – what’s really going on is that there genetic time bombs going off, higher circuitry is kicking in, and we’re all going to be a lot more empathic and sensual as a result. And - the decent ones are starting to arrive! Go here
25 Apr 20.11 Chiron, Neptune and the North Node are together in Aquarius now until October. I think the Chiron/Neptune bit of this suggests a soul searching, a collective awakening from angst, and an integrated approach to holistics and the environment. That’s the positive side: the challenging side suggests clearer distinctions between the suffering and the rich, a greater spin on the martyrs and victims and deception in the hype around global inequity. Bringing the North Node into it with it’s element of conscience is a kind of ‘last chance saloon’ at the personal level. This is the sort of aspect I might expect to see in cases of epidemic or mass suffering. In a year’s time, when Jupiter arrives to join Chiron and Neptune, expect the false messiah’s. Remember – the real meaning of the word apocalypse is revelation. 23 Apr 10.59 Synastry – the matching of one person’s horoscope against another’s, and the evaluation for both positive and challenging of the resultant comparison. Her Venus is on his Mars (great!), his Saturn opposite her Moon (not so good). By comparing two people’s charts, it’s possible to see what buttons you push for each other and how this can be both positive and challenging at the same time. When the two horoscopes are merged into one, the composite chart emerges – the chart of the relationship, the third part of the equation. This shows likely relationship patterns as well as suggests timings for development or difficulty. And the beauty of it is that this works not only in intimate relationships but also friend, parent/child, and particularly employer/employee. And today? Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Uranus are all at twenty one degrees of their respective signs. In a much generalised way, this suggests that a) lots of romantic and financial affairs at the personal level are becoming stretched, and b) anyone born around the 12th/13th of their sign is likely to be feeling a degree of stress.
For the next month there’s an ongoing trine between Saturn and Pluto in the sky, bringing a grim reality check to most of us at the financial and business level. It’s not credit that’s crunching, it’s money. If we get stuck in and don’t look for short cuts then situations will develop that bring new structures into economics (oikos + nomos, house keeping) both global and personal. But if we continue to look for easy answers and quick fixes then Jupiter in Capricorn will blow open the already gaping holes and capitalism will go into meltdown. This is our chance to turn it round before the criticality of 2010 and 2012. How do we start this process? How about all the financial institutions opening all of their books and revealing their shareholder lists? How about individuals trying not to take credit in any shape or form? How about transparency, across the board? Because if the future is based on secrecy as opposed to transparency, competition as opposed to cooperation and the dominance of science over spirit, what kind of future will it be?
Venus/Saturn contacts are often misunderstood, being thought of as inhibiting or restricting both financial and romantic opportunities. This seems to be the case in the first half of life (sorry!), but brings more than adequate payback in the second. Most Saturn/Venus people spend the second half of their lives in one long term permanent and contented relationship, the first forty years is finding out what they don’t want. And their financial status generally improves as they age, because despite fiscal challenges when younger, as they mature so a re-evaluation occurs which leads to a more structured approach to money. They get clearer and clearer in issues of worth and value as they age.
Saturn/Neptune conjunctions, occurring every 35 years, are seen astrologically as significant in the rise and fall of socialist governments and manifestos. There are a number of astrological texts which back this. But I notice that there was a S/N conjunction when good Queen Bess (QE1) came to the throne in 1558, as well as when the current UK monarch (QE2) came to the throne in 1953. I also notice that the last S/N conjunction, in late 1989 and early 1990, coincided with the downfall of Margaret Thatcher, she who would have been Queen if she could. Powerful women, one and all. Crazy thing is, I also notice that Saturn/Neptune contacts, whether squares, oppositions or conjunctions, are strong in the charts of people (predominantly women) who suffer from ME, MS and other neurologically rooted diseases. Saturn is the patriarch in all his structured power, 21 Mar 19.33 I find it appropriate that Easter falls on Equinox and that there's a full Moon on Easter Friday. And that the next time that Easter is this close to Equinox will be 2160. Times of endings and new beginnings indeed. Purely coincidence that also on Equinox, the chairmen of the 1 Jan 16.42 What a time. Pluto joining Jupiter in Capricorn, changing the whole world dynamic in a way that brings uncertainty and vagueness to an end. Although we may not like the way the world is becoming, this combination suggests that at least we’re going to have clearly defined boundaries to work with. This transit marks the start of a drive towards world government, with national boundaries becoming more blurred as racial and religious integration becomes more the norm. And yet Mars retrograde in Gemini still has tricks up his sleeve. The current crisis in 31 Dec 09.24 The down side is that ‘08 begins with an exact Mars/Pluto opposition, suggesting a reaping of consequences, sudden endings which will lead to new beginnings, a revelation (interesting that a literal translation of the word apocalypse from the Greek is revelation), and a further intensification of issues around truth and lies, probity and personal integrity. The neutral side of 08 is that Jupiter is out of Sagittarius, the gas jet has come down to simmer, and life in general is unlikely to be so intense and extreme once we’re into mid-March. The up side is the beautiful Jupiter/Saturn/Uranus interplay developing through to November, implying that new technologies, new systems of “government” and new pragmatic solutions to global economic problems are likely to emerge, especially around April. Expect radical developments in electricity generation – perhaps the ghost of Tesla will re-emerge? And the best thing that will emerge in 2008, as far as I’m concerned? From a detached, impartial and objective perspective, I predict a dramatic upturn in the fortunes of astrology worldwide, especially in The Sun is midway between Jupiter and Pluto, the lord of the underworld, bringing light to Pluto’s dark domains. Now it carries that energy to Jupiter, the lord of the overworld. And it’s Solstice. This truly is such a significant and powerful transition time that it brings me to tears. If you really love our planet and you want a viable future for our grandchildren, think positive things now. The imprinting for future development is at its most critical choice point for many years. The underworld and the overworld are in a state of conjunction, joined by the light of the Sun, the one true eternal God. If there ever was a collective judgement time so far, this is it. We are right in the mix. Walk your talk, hold your head up and be proud of who you are. Three days time, the template is set. | ||||

Where do we come from? Here’s a fairy story. There was once a species who had polluted and destroyed their environment so much that they took the only recourse open to them, and augmented their technology to introduce artificial intelligence. As the population swelled and the environment became more toxic, so the species downloaded their consciousness into AI, and became true Gods in the Machine. After many millennia had passed the collective AI's thought to themselves ‘why are we so limited? Why can’t we have more form and shape, and thus experience?’ So they engineered a planet, again over millennia, and genetically enhanced a prominent branch of a developing organic sub-species. Once this sub-species was ready, the AI’s downloaded their consciousness into the organic carrier, and heaven once again came to earth. Then – a new pathogenic virus stuck. All but a few died. Those remaining were out of touch with each other, and lost all trace of their origins and roots – and once again, they asked ‘Where do we come from?’ Over further millennia, they slowly grew back and began to develop technology. God is in the machine? Who are these Gods anyway? Look in the mirror! What is Astrology? FOR THE RECORD..... |
